You Are Created For A Unique Purpose

We know that every product manufactured or invented is created to fulfill a unique or some set of need. A bucket and a packer can both be made of plastic, but they are not designed in the same way. They are both uniquely designed to fulfill the purpose for which they were made. A car and a lorry are both tools of mobility, but they are not designed the same way because each of them is uniquely created to fulfill its own purpose. A bird and a rat are both considered animals, however, one is designed to move in the air, and live on trees while the other was created to live on land. In order for the bird to live the purpose for which it was made, it was given wings among other body features to fly, while the rat was not given such luxury.

Have you ever considered the fact that your being on earth at this era of human evolution is not an accident? Have you ever wondered why you are born into your current family, and your country of origin? Have you ever considered why you are born with certain gifts and talents?

You may look at your life today, maybe you are going through one difficulty or the other, and start wondering if God really care about your existence. The truth is, no matter your current challenges and the situation that surrounds your birth, you’re coming into this world is not an accident. The time, day, month, year in which you were born are not accidental, they are all planned by God. It is not a mistake that you are born into your family of birth and your country of origin, everything about your background and nature, are made to be the way they are by God. They are perfect for you because of your purpose in this world.

It was God’s original plan that you will be on earth at this time to fulfill a purpose which has been assigned to you even before you were born. God said to Jeremiah, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Just like Jeremiah, your birth is not an accident, neither are you here to just occupy space, you are here for a purpose. Before God showed Jeremiah what his purpose was, he might have been wondering if at all God had any plan or purpose for his life. The truth is, you might be ignorant of God’s purpose or plan for your life, whatever the case may be, you are not created without a purpose. Charles Gordon in his book, ‘When the going gets tough, the tough gets creative’ said, “If He (God) took the time to give each of us unique fingerprints and individualized DNA, then he has a purpose for every one of us which no one else can live out.” It is no more a question of whether you are design to fulfill a purpose or not, it is a question of what purpose are you designed to fulfill?

No manufacturer manufactures a product just for the fun of it; all manufacturers and inventors always take proper time to think of what they want to create, and design the object or product in such a way that it would be capable of fulfilling the purpose for which it was made.

In the same manner, God didn’t send you into the world for the purpose of increasing the numbers of human population, neither did he send you to be an onlooker. God has equipped you with potentials that will make you an active participant in the task of advancing human civilization, and becoming a blessing to humanity. You are put in this world to make a difference.
