My Interest In The Internal Medicine Residency Program
I am writing this letter to express my genuine interest in the Internal Medicine Residency program at the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). Upon researching thoroughly, it’s clear that you’re looking for a candidate that is extremely familiar with the responsibilities associated with this role and can perform them confidently. Hence, I am certain that I am well aligned with this position, and that I would be an excellent applicant for your program.
I am a diligent recent MBBS graduate from Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. During the course of my academic career, I managed to accrue nearly one year of clinical experience in Al Mafraq Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE as a fifth-year medical student, where I was exposed to a wide array of staggering cases. Moreover, I had the privilege of working for a year in Al Baraha Hospital, Dubai, UAE as an intern, where I adapted valuable professional skills in communication, patient care, and preventive medicine. Furthermore, I enrolled in various Summer Training Programs globally to experience medicine in every aspect and to learn from the best doctors, professors, and most importantly the patients. I am also keen on being updated with medicine for which I attend many conferences and workshops. In both my academic and professional life, I have consistently been praised to be well motivated and determined by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular or professional projects, I have proven to apply analytical, critical thinking and leadership skills, which I hope to leverage into this residency program at HMC.
I believe the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) provides abundant education and training opportunities to yield well-trained and professional physicians. I am captivated by HMC’s adherence to following updated guidelines and incorporating advanced technology. I too look forward to supplementing my experience in this residency program by taking part in research publications. Therefore, I will dedicate my time and effort to this residency program for the betterment of myself as a physician and the community by being flexible, taking constructive criticism from my seniors and knowing my place as a resident. In the future, I see myself being on a never-ending rotation known as internal medicine, teaching young and aspiring physicians, and timelessly contribute to this vast field by conducting researches.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to an interview where I can further elaborate on my specific skills and abilities that will benefit this program.
