The action of hunting could be such a spiritual experience. Many argue that it is just animal bloodshed but it's deeper than that. Hunting connects people with a meaning of life, and the meaning of death. A quote from the Gale database that was very remarkable stood out by saying “Nature has but one life law; life feeds on life, and life gives life to other life” (Clark). In regards to that lesson when hunting; it is not so much about the kill, but more about why we kill and what we do when we do it. The reason to live is to die and no matter what the reason someone is hunting for, every life ends someway or another. With that being addressed, Clark also expressed that “The death of an animal, its true, is the goal of the hunt; but a greater goal is to be found in the overall experience, of which the actual killis only the climactic moment” (Clark). Only hunters will know the feeling of a kill. It is not about the death that took a toll, but the experience that comes with it. Everyone has a favorite early morning story, ready to spend countless hours waiting for the one surprise. An experience that was shared is explained by “It is enough to sit, shivering, at the best spot on the top rim of a remote basin, watching the east grow bright, waiting for the first warm rays of sunshine to break through the trees and drive away the butter cold night” (Clark). Humans do not deserve this beauty without realizing the complications and meaning of all this. These moments are in the present and cannot be redone, just experienced different everytime you go to do the same thing. Moments of hunting are to be spared to connect when not acting upon actually hunting. Non-hunters will never understand the feeling.

In most days, humans rely on technology to seek the meaning of life. When hunting, technology cannot be around for a successful hunt. The communication of cellular devices most of the time disturbs the wildlife. In which no technology should be in use, it should not be an issue. Nature is beautiful as it is and when focusing on the hunt, attention should be shown to the surroundings. An article found relates to this topic by explaining “urbanization places physical distance between humans and the material sources of their sustenance in nature. Technology provides artificial substitutes for the material and social relationships previously provided by nature” ( Peterson). It is believed that humanity has lost contact with real life and nature over technology. Hunting is just one of many opportunities to find tranquility in the natural earth's habitats. It just has to be a connection found personally and not forced upon.

We hunt because it is right. It is not because we want to kill be savage but because it is a natural way of life and because there are reasons why hunting came to be. From the beginning of time, hunting was a way of life to live and survive. Humans never had food handed to them. They had to hunt their own game to feed off of. When hunting became an issue because of so many populations decreasing, hunting laws came into place. In a recent relaxation, a quote pulled from an article that stood out explained “In our modern, urbanized society, many like to imagine their own existence is bloodless, clean, and sanitary. But such an outlook is self-deluding” (Clark). The reason why this quote stood out was because many humans like to place bad guy on everyone else. Humans natural work was to live and to kill. We hunt because it is right, and because it is in fact, normal! Hunting creates skills to real world situations and sets humans up to experience real world situations.

When an argument comes up about wildlife being killed and how sad it is, people tend to realize that there are limits and regulations on hunting animals. Africa is nearly begging for undertaking of a few of the common animal populations. Pessisis points out “To preserve and conserve these animal populations require large areas of land, manpower, and dedicated and qualified management” (Plessis). The non-hunters argument will always be that wildlife has no reason to be killed but when out produce is being used up and wasted, what will we do once it’s all gone. There is only so much product that could be used to help animals that humans don’t even get tamed. In regards to the man hunting and culling of wildlife, there has been many different programs set in place to guide over controlled hunting. In Louisiana, the program is called Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries. Game wardens are basically wildlife and ecosystems police. They take care of hunting limits, disposed hunting, tagged hunting, limited hunting, and wildlife/ecosystem preservation. While each state has their own limits and regulations on different animals, everyone is set for a particular purpose. A book that was written to provide insight of hunting explains “these officials work hard to prevent the illegal poaching of endangered animals and birds, as well as the destruction of their habitat” (Dee). The purpose of hunting comes with privileges because people don't just kill to kill. Non-hunters will never understand the contact of wardens and humans. The limits put out are for reasons of overpopulation and animal control. While game wardens are there to protect the life of animals and habitats, it is also to help humans in the long run!
