The old Germans believed that the fir tree is the protector of nature and possesses the 'mountain spirit'; therefore, the valiant warriors of that time, on the evening of changing the weather, went to the mountain and with rituals, blessed and praised this trunk. Later, going to the mountain to the trunk of the fir tree, it turns into bringing it to the chambers of houses. Thus, at this time, from this ancient tradition, we have inherited the ceremony of decorated fir trees in our homes, as the family royal of every home everywhere in the world.

I though peoples celebrate this holiday with confidence in a new and richer beginning, it does not rejoice all at the same date, because, some peoples apply the Lunar calendar (the Moon's rotation) and some others it Solar (Sun rotation calculation). Compared to the solar calendar, which is fixed and unchanged for 365 days, those peoples who set their calendar according to Lunar cycle (Monday) New Year's Eve each year do not celebrate on the same day, because, as if it is known, moon cycles are variable, and the moment of changing the weather is celebrated with the beginning of the new moon, namely in the month of February of our calendar year.

The Lunar New Year, today, is more celebrated in China, India, Japan, Vietnam as well as in several other countries of the East, and in parallel, along with the New Year's Day solar calendar accrued by the calendar Gregorian. For the Chinese, Lunar New Year is the spring holiday. In Japan, this celebration is celebrated with delighted tables full of traditional traditional specialties, and at midnight the weather changes echo 108 of the bells of all the Buddhist temples across the country. Symbolism of 108, implies a warning and a message about the removal of 108 possible human sins in life. It is also celebrated in the New York Jewish people magnificently, because it is also regarded as a spiritual holiday with religious lessons marking the anniversary of the beginning of the creation of the World. At these holiday dates is variable due to the application of the combined solar-solar calendar.

Another thing is characteristic of the New Year's Jewish celebration: those at the moment of changing the weather are really a rich table, but in contrast to other peoples, it is confined only to sweet things, so the table their rich is blissful only with cakes. In the warm areas of the southern semicircle of our world, the New Year is celebrated in the summer season, without the snow and the winter wonder we are used to in the northern parts, but this does not reduce the greatness of the pompousness of its celebration.
