The Opening stage is the initial stage of getting to know members introducing ourselves and being social. Feedforward stage is how members decide who should get what tasks and members can discuss what needs to be done to meet the goal. Business stage is the actual effort it takes to begin tasks recognize problems and share information with groups members. Feedback stage is just a way to get an idea of where everyone is with their tasks and where everyone is in the project. To make decisions in a group, we follow three methods, we listen to everyone's ideas, vote by consensus, and if there's a stalemate in the group and we cannot come to a decision usually there is a person in the group that makes the final decisions. Once the group has a mutual understanding and agrees to follow these rules and cultural norms, this makes decision making and problem-solving fairly easy. Once a group reaches an agreement, by voting, or if it is unanimous, whatever decision is made the group agrees to carry it out.

An agreement in a group can be very time-consuming, but if all group members follow the standards, it should make it fairly easy. If you want members of the group to be happy with the decisons that are being made in a group it is important to utilize concensus and collaboration. In addition, there are many different formats of a group. This includes the round table the panel the symposium and the symposium-forum. the roundtable is the act of sitting in a circular pattern where we can arrange ourselves in a position where we can share thoughts and ideas with members of the group. During this format, there is no set pattern of who speaks, group interaction can be casual or orderly and members contribute freely. A leader or moderator may be present; he or she may, for example, try to keep everyone on the same topic or encourage other members to share their thoughts and ideas. In a panel group, members are experts and they also do not speak in any specific order. The only difference with a panelis that you are infront of a audience who can listen your message and ask questions. The symposium is about pulic speaking and presenting information on a specific topic. In the symposium-forum, there is no set pattern for how much time will he spent on the symposium part and how much on the forum part. Combinations may also be used. Thus for example group members may each present a view there views, and it is discussed in a group discussion. During this time apprehension about speaking publicly may happen. I know in my experiences I am always nervous before a presentation, or speaking in front of an audience. Depending on how big the audiences, is the level of anxiety i feel when speaking for a group. For me my work groups give me the most apprehension, because i feared that i would not sound good, or worst freeze up before my superiors and subordinates. I have the realized through years of experience in public sppeaking that what i think of myself, influences how the audience will perceive me nd the information that i am sharing.

Finally, Small groups run the worldand most decisions that we make regarding our country, is made through a small group For example we make laws, policies, and influence others in a small group. In a small group you communicate with other people by sharing information, educate, and we can learn new things from other members in the group.
