The hometown that I grew up in is the big city of Charlotte North Carolina. In Charlotte the weather is very much so average. The summers are hot and muggy and the winters are cold and wet. Charlotte is located right in the middle of North Carolina. Meaning when it is winter time it’s rare that you will see a pack full of snow. Just more ice ( black ice ).

Furthermore, I would like to get into the exact location of my hometown, and also what the GIS is for my hometown. The latitude for charlotte is 35.2271 degrees north, and the latitude is 80.8431 West. Charlotte is a city that is located about 85 miles south and east of the Appalachian Mountains. And also is about 180 miles northwest of the Atlantic ocean. Charlotte is the mecklenburg county seal. For the reader wondering what the city of Charlotte is known for i'm here to tell you. The city of charlotte is known for extreme NASCAR racing, but it's also known for the infamous NFL team, called the Panthers. Fun fact about my hometown is that it is known also as ‘ The Queen City “.

My Hometown of Charlotte North Carolina is no stranger to hurricanes. Though we may have our bright and sunny days, and our cold and gloomy winters, there are many times when we have some devastating hurricanes. For those who don’t know a hurricane can cause some serious damage. With the violent winds and raining it can cause folding it can cause different objects to be moved or brokened. Many very bad outcomes can come from a hurricane.

The most recent hurricane that hit charlotte North Carolina was the hurricane known as Hurricane Florence. This hit the Carolinas on september 17th 2018. It was a major hurricane because it was only called for a catorety 1, but even a category one hurricane can cause some damage. This hurricane came with light winds but it also came with heavy rain. Meaning that there was A LOT of flooding. This storm caused so much flooding that in certain areas people were cut off from civilization., leaving them completely surrounded in mainland. Some would say they were trapped. This storm was estimated to cause 17 billion dollars worth of damage just by hitting the Carolinas itself. The storm was also known to cause 15 deaths and 25 unknown deaths.

That is not the only hurricane that North Carolina has endured. In 2016 The Carolinas were hit with another hurricane and this one was called hurricane Mattews. This hurricane was known as one of the worst, it was a category 5. This hurricane came in with heavy winds and lots of rain, flooding the area. This caused there to be up to two dozen deaths. The effects of hurricanes are something serious. It can cause so many things such as power outages, loss of water, food, and more. I feel as though it should be known and spread out across the world to stay safe and make sure to stock up on things such as food and water. To stay safe, no- matter how big or small the hurricane is.

The next thing that I would like to get into is the physical characteristics of my hometown. Charlotte North Carolina is known to have many building mostly banking buildings and also the arena for the NFL team named panthers. But it is also surrounded by small stores and different outlets. But to get more deeper into what the physical characteristics of what my hometowns charterics are is what type of rocks that are found in the town. There are three types of rocks and they can all be found in the city of charlotte. But the main rock that is located throughout this land would have to be the sedimentary rock. A sedimentary rock is a Rock that has formed through the deposition and solidification of sediment, especially sediment transported by water (rivers, lakes, and oceans), ice (glaciers), and wind. Sedimentary rocks are often deposited in layers, and frequently contain fossils.

Know I would like to get into the Cultural attributes and landscapes of my hometown. What language and religion the is prodandly used in the city would have to be christian and baptist for the religion portion though there is a wide variety of those are the main foused religions. There are hundreds of baptist and chalic churches located around charlotte. For the language I would have to say that it is about the same, there are many people from different states and regions moving into the charlotte area which can cause a mixer of languages but it is mainly english speaking in the city of charlotte. There are wide varieties of music and food all throughout the city. Things such as the infamous bojangles, chick fil a, seafood connection, all of those things located in the town of charlotte North carolina. This city is growing fast by the years that go by, it is ranked as one of the countries largest cities.

Know I would like to get into the facts on the actual population on charlotte north carolina. And what the carrying capacity is and whether it is on the verge of being overpopulated. The total population right now for the city is 859,035 total people.So far the city is not at its carrying capacity and for those who don't know what the carrying cappy is it is when the maximum, equilibrium number of organisms of a particular species that can be supported indefinitely in a given environment. At the moment charlotte is at the normal net migration and growth that it should be. As an example, a home might be located 1.3 miles from the Atlantic Ocean,.4 miles from the town's elementary school, and 32 miles from the nearest international airport. In addition to producing a spectacular landscape, this regional variation has influenced the state’s climate, soils, plant life, and human geography.”

Charlotte is a place where climate and the landscaping is not bad whatsoever. The climate in the city stays pretty much constant throughout the summer days, and through the winter days as well. For people looking to live in this city, this place is something I would recommend living just because it has great schools, Job opportunities, housing, and etc.
