This is responsible for people dying earlier in occurrence than anticipated. The increase of these diseases are due to unhealthy diet, use of alcohol and tobacco, lack of physical inactivity, age as well as pollution. This leads the life of human into a dangerous situation. Oxidative stress, free radical formation increasing lipid content in the human body are some of the complications due to the above mentioned factors which can later transform into diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease etc, which leads to mortality as well as a decrease in the quality of life of people. Antioxidants plays a pivotal role in reducing the oxidative damages. The chemical constitution of Aloe Vera helps to prevent the oxidative damages. Lipids are important component in the human body, cholesterol, triglyceride are lipids, if the level of these lipids increases it can be then turn to many diseases.

According to chemistry, 'Free radical is a molecule consisting of single valance electrons capable of forming highly chemically reactive specious. These unstable atoms try to become stable by taking part in chemical reactions' (Halliwell, 1989). The free radicals are formed by splitting of oxygen atoms into single electrons. These atoms try to become stable with another atom. If it happens, it leads to oxidative stress. This has a harmful effect in the body causes cells to expose for diseases as well as ageing and wrinkles. Hydroxyl, nitric oxide, superoxide, nitrogen dioxide, lipid peroxyl, peroxyl are some commonly occurring free radicals in the human body. The free radicals can also help to fight against the pathogens that is harmful to the body but if the level of free radicals increases, then it will be neutralize by antioxidant otherwise it can be attack the cells of human body.
