What My Mom Taught Me About Hard Work and Dedication

I believe anything can be achieved through hard work and dedication. I have found this to be true not only through myself but what happens around me. This belief came to be thru trial and errors that I faced throughout my life. I have no idea what I want for myself in the future all I know is that I want to be successful and I'm not sure how? Or where to start. That’s when I really started listen to what my mom told me and built a closer relationship. I'm the type of person that always sees the good in things. I'm very positive and will push for what I want to happen. I like to see change and progress in myself.

My mom is definitely my best friend and a huge inspiration to me. She is the only one that knows what I'm thinking before I say it, she always has my back and of course she expects only the best from me and often she gets it because I want to make her and myself proud. She seems to always know the right decision. With every decision I make, I think to myself, 'what would Mom do?' she is never self-centered and is always looking out for me. When school is tough or I've had a bad day, I think of all the successes my mom has achieved and use that to strive to be even better. Her unconditional love and support are what fuels me to do my very best each day.

My mom went to school for many years but in the end, it was worth it all. She was the definition of hard work and dedication which got her PhD in pharmacy. This opened my eyes and showed me that good things in life do not come easy, but they are worth everything. She also taught me to do things to my fullest ability. I learned that patience is the difference in whether or not your dreams come true. In life not everything comes instantly.

My mom always tells me to keep working hard and hang in there and to push myself out of my comfort zone every so often. That is where your dreams will become a reality. She is constantly pushing me to experience new things. She did it and watching her soar above the limits has always encouraged me. I saw her work for years on projects and managing her time and saw that patience is what kept her going to reach success. So, through my hard work and dedication in school I will follow my mom’s footsteps to become successful in my career as well.

Although it is only two words hard work and dedication is essential to be able to know your worth and be the best you can be not only in the present but growing up and moving on to higher levels in life!
