The Life and Achievemnts of Muhammad - a Founder of Islam
I chose Muhammad because he did a lot from the day he was born till the day he died. One of the many things that Muhammad did was when Muhammad founded Islam and made it the way it is now.
Muhammad was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia on April 22, 571 AD. He was raised by his grandfather, Abdul-Muttalib, but later after his grandfather died, he was raised by his uncle Abu Talib. During the years of Muhammad growing up he had three jobs a politician, merchant, and a prophet. When Muhammad was around forty, he went to a cave in Mount Hira, and he heard a voice from the sky that said, I am Gabriel and I want you to be the messenger for Allah.
Muhammad was the founder of Islam, he founded Islam in the seventh century. He was a merchant, but when Muhammad was about forty he started to have visions from the god Allah that became the home for the Koran and the foundation of Islam. Islam is defined as submitting to the want of Allah.
Muhammad’s life was a good life to live, because he did all things good for Allah and Islam. By doing whatever Allah wanted him to do because he wanted to be a good Muslim and go to paradise and spend an eternity with Allah when he dies. Muhammad died at the age of sixty one, and he died of a serious illness.
Islam’s church is called a mosque, and the Islamic people go there every Friday. Islam also has a holy book called the Quran. The Quran is divided into chapters, and the chapters are divided into verses. In the Quran there are over one hundred chapters in that book!!! The Quran was written on December 22, 603, and the people of Islam started following the Quran not to long after it was written, because they believe that God told Muhammad what to say in the Quran, and that is how it was formed.
Muhammad was a great man, who had a lot of good quotes. One of the many quotes that Muhammad had was “Kindness is a mark of faith, and whoever has not kindness has not faith, this quote means that if you have kindness for one another then you will have faith, but if you don’t have a kindness, then you will not have faith. Another quote by Muhammad is “to overcome evil with good is good, to resist evil with more evil is not good, this quote means that is you sin you can overcome that sin with good, and you will be forgiven, but if you sin and overcome that sin with even more evil, then you will not be forgiven.
Muhammad died on June 8, 632 AD. Muhammad was sixty-one years old when he died, he died this young because of a serious illness, when Muhammad died he was on his way from Mecca to Medina, and three months later he died, and his body is buried in the mosque in Medina.
