Self Assessment: Strengths and Weaknesses in My Personality

Introduction

It is an interesting experience to write a self assessment essay about yourself. My personality test showed that I am an Adventurer person. I am highly flexible and calm when it comes to tackling with both predicted and unpredicted situations (Cobb-Clark & Schurer 2012). I always look for better opportunities as well as alternatives and eager to exploit them. Individuals with this quality are flawlessly alert (Komarraju et al. 2011) that life is filled with likelihoods, and I am usually unwilling to obligate to something that may well establish to be a weak alternative in the upcoming days. As I have an Adventurer personality trait so I am possibly to emphasize highly on what makes me satisfied. I am a true artist and I reside in a multicolored, sensual world, motivated by linkages with different kind of persons and notions. I take pleasure in reinterpreting these associations, rediscovering and trying out new insights. I will always be capable to come about with something better to do. The personality test showed that I am 69% Adventurer, 44% turbulent, 56% assertive, 60% introverted, 58% feeling, 53% observant, and 31% judging.

Being an Adventurer type of person I do have some strengths and weaknesses in my personality.

Personality skills

My personality skills are:

• I am capable to achieve my own way.
• I can persuade the other individual very ardently.

• I am very much confident person.
• I do show determination in attaining my life and career goals.

Disadvantages of being adventurer and assertive:

• Sometimes if something is not appropriately conveyed to me, then I consider it to be offensiveness.
• I may also reflect boldness.
• I might seem to be overconfident.

Personality Values

I am highly honest person and I don’t let down the regard and hopes of other people. I believe in leading by heart not by head. I highly believe in peace and harmony. However, I believe it is important to be assertive and Adventurer in today’s world. It is a competitive world at present. I have to experience and tackle a number of challenges in my work field. I also have to deal with all types of individuals. Some people might be supportive and helpful and others might not be so cooperative. As a result, it might not be very simple to persuade some individuals. Sometimes my opinions might not be suitable to the other individual. So, it becomes important to be Adventurer and assertive in such cases.

Interests

My interests are mentioned below:

• To understand individuals, their objectives, goals, aim, and what accurately impels them. 

• To lead a group to attain an objective, idea or plan.

• To be in a place where individuals admire, respect, trust, and depend upon me 

• To produce profound, satisfying, and significant associations with people.

Career Path

I with the Adventurer type of personality wish to have a look towards everything that lets me do what I highly admire which is supporting and leading other vigilantly. Individuals like to be helped (Awais Bhatti et al. 2014; Sims 2017), and are highly excited to pay off for it, which means that as a Adventurer kind of person I occasionally wish for inspiration and potential in my examination for a momentous career path.

SMART Goals

It is important to create SMART goals which stand for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-based (O’Neill & Conzemius 2006).

I will acquire a job as a University lecturer within two months after completing with my Bachelor degree. My SMART Goals are:

• Specific: My goal of becoming a University lecturer is definite.
• Measurable: My success can be measured by the number of interviews, job applications, and work offers.
• Achievable: I as a goal setter will have the suitable qualification for the applied job.
• Relevant: I am anticipating to get a job in the university after obtaining my Bachelors degree.
• Time-based: I have set a certain time limit to attain my goal within the 2 months after completion of graduation degree.
