Personality is never easily defined. Many people have a hard time describing what they are. They like to think that they have all of these 'perfect' traits, but each one has advantages and disadvantages. Thankfully, personality psychology exists to help. Through various theories and many personality tests, people can understand what they are like. I need to write a 'Describe yourself' essay, so thankfully there are plenty of psychological tests that have helped me with this task.

To determine my personality, I took some personality tests and gathered other resources to confirm these tests. I used the Newcastle Personality Assessor to determine where I fall on the continuum of each trait in the Big Five. I also used the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to determine my personality traits on that scale. I found that my results scored moderate-high on openness on both tests. Openness is a difficult quality to define. Nettle even states that openness is 'the most mysterious and difficult of the five'. The best way he describes it is that the person high in openness is a poet or artist. Some have even described those who score high in openness as cynical. While writing a 'Describe yourself and your personality' essay I was a little surprised that I got a moderately high score on this attribute. I don't see myself as artistic, but I do think I am creative, innovative, and eccentric in a way. I was on the future problem-solving team in elementary school and it requires a lot of creative and critical thinking. My team also went to the states for a year. I did several science fair projects and even did a Rube Goldberg project. I also enjoy going to museums and watching theaters and wish I could draw or paint, but I don't have that talent. As mentioned earlier, I don't go with mainstream society.

My views and preferences are singular and not many people share them. My Myers-Briggs type, inf, supports Newcastle testing. Infs abound in consulting, writing, and art careers. Another source showed that people who had NFP in their type were highly correlated with musician careers. Although I may not excel in the arts, I appreciate them and I have creative potential but neuroticism to something else measures the response to negative emotions such as sadness, anxiety and fear. I scored medium-high on this attribute. I completely agree with this score. When I'm feeling sad, it usually lasts all day or it would be great to have something to cheer me back on. I often worry and worry about unnecessary things but it is not so heavy that I need to take medicine or anything for it. I can usually calm down after taking very deep breaths. I worry mostly about academics and it's a bit pointless as I usually get good grades. My anxiety usually starts when I have to present something in front of the class. I took a speech class in high school and during my first speech, I couldn't stop my hands from trembling and then I got even more embarrassed because my hands were trembling. In addition to these life examples, the Myers-Briggs type supports it. INFPs are generally sensitive. I often find myself crying in sad movies like The Notebook. I screamed at the end. I feel that my skin has become a bit thicker since I was younger.

Generally, I have always thought to myself that I am proper to become a marketer, still, I am not sure about my personality, and I should answer myself what career I should have. All of these results 'Visual DNA, Theory XY, and MBTI' collide with each other but nothing else. The INFJ personality is surprisingly accurate; Some of my friends agree. The result implies that my personality is suitable for jobs that require being able to exercise my insight and independence. Also, formal hierarchies and routine tasks are not something I like. However, perfectionists are my problem because when I get a job, I already have my ideal, and the challenge is to achieve it. As I easily go to the other person; It sometimes makes people think that I am a sociable and extroverted person, on the contrary, I am an introverted person who cares highly about privacy. In addition, I rarely express my feelings or bad attitude towards others, so many people think that I am an optimistic and sedative person. Thus, this point should be my strength for the future as the career I pursue not only has to face new people every day but also requires tact and social etiquette. On the other hand, my weakness is also related to my social skills. Lasting relationships are difficult for me because knowing too many people is difficult to act in commonality. In terms of work-life, my main problem is being a perfectionist; I always have my ideal job in my mind, and I pursue it, however difficult it is sometimes. Hence, this habit causes a waste of time and is not effective enough with less time work.

To rectify all these shortcomings, I need to be more comfortable with myself and reduce my strains on work and social life. As a manager, my management style may encourage my workforce to focus more, bring creativity, and involvement in decision-making that establishes high performance and success as a whole in teamwork, however, this is different for every individual might not be possible to culture, thus, if it doesn't work, I'd use a slightly subtler management method. Many clinical techniques for counseling and therapy have evolved from the need to establish supportive strategies based on personality principles. While there are many personality theories available for discussion, the following text provides information on three main theories: occultist, humanistic, and behaviorist. Let's take a closer look at each of these and go to an example describing each principle in practice. Psychic personality theory emphasizes the study of the client's conscious and subconscious states. In addition, the id, ego, and superego are explored to help the client address the thinking issues associated with their mental health disorder.

Since then, many personality theories have evolved from Freud's psychodynamic personality theory. The fields of psychology and psychiatry have evolved greatly since Freud's discussion of how the brain stimulates behavior. Let's look at an example of how psychodynamic theory can be used in dealing with a customer. Freud hypothesized that children developed their personalities through a succession of stages that focused on particular areas of the body. If a child progresses in stages without incident, he will develop well in that area. If not, they may develop an infatuation later in life. For example, if a child does not successfully pass specific stage in life, he may develop an eating disorder later in life or become a chronic thumb sucker.

Personality traits can manifest as strengths or weaknesses, depending on the situation, and personality tests can help individuals maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses within an organizational structure. Organizational behavior is critical to organizational effectiveness, and these tests can also point individuals toward certain careers or organizations that are good fits. Pearson Education's Managemental includes a series of personality tests and the following discussion analyzes the results of these tests as they apply to my personality and my career. I will be most productive in organizations that use a variety of non-financial workplace motivations. My job motivation indicator is job orientation, which is the least common motivator globally. I don't want my work to interfere with my life, making flexible hours and the ability to work remotely appealing.

Understanding the influence of other people on my personality helps me build productive working relationships with subordinates, peers as well as bosses. When it comes to job satisfaction the fit between personality and the way the company operates is important. Whether one is trying to find their place in the workplace or trying to find out if they are headed in the right direction, one needs to understand their personality, and how it can lead to failure or failure in various ways. How does it affect your chances of being successful? In the session-long project, I was required to make a personal assessment of a relevant set of skills interested in the people around me and their feelings, I do my best, to be honest, and loyal. I value harmony, and whenever it isn't, I create it. In addition, I derive satisfaction from helping others, which is a quality trait when it comes to tasks that require cooperation. I also value organization and structure when it comes to my daily activities, and this shows that I have strong organizational abilities. I tend to be imaginative and creative, and I usually enjoy new challenges as well as variety. However, I find myself very sensitive when it comes to discord and criticism. Testing revealed that the ENFJ personality has many strengths. The first strength I identify with is credibility. I don't want to disappoint my friends or coworkers whenever they need my help. I want to be the person they can rely on to get the job done. Secondly, I was found to be charismatic. Getting attention using respectful communication and charm is one of my specialties. I can change the tone to reflect people's needs. As a result, real features are subject to risk.

To describe yourself, to answer the 'Who am I?' it is not so easy as it seems. To end up this essay, I should focus on improving aspects of my weaknesses. If I need to use three words to describe yourself it is selflessness, openness and perfectionists. Selflessness this is a weakness because it can be too overwhelming to make an intense effort to keep my word, especially if the request is made to a loved one. Being too selfless is dangerous because it can leave me without the ability to help myself or others as I try to carry burdens that are not my own in the name of empathy. Another weakness of my personality type is I can often be too sensitive. However, I choose to be receptive when it comes to disagreements and criticism. However, having effective leadership in mind is often not able to differentiate between my problems and problems that are not related to me.
