Different groups of people are classified based on their race and ethnicity. Race is concerned with physical characteristics, whereas ethnicity is concerned with cultural recognition. Race, on the other hand, is something you inherit, whereas ethnicity is something you learn.

The connection of race, ethnicity, and identity is a complicated topic. All of these ideas are interwoven and form a web of connections that function in a variety of ways. They have the ability to influence people's lives in a variety of ways. We can build a sense of self as a result of the culture we grow up in, allowing us to better realise who we are. Our identity can alter dramatically as a result of this, as well as how we see the world and how the world sees us.

When we talk about culture, race and ethnicity come up since the culture we practise is typically dictated by the two. That isn't always the case, though. Nonetheless, race and ethnicity have a variety of effects on our identities

These two concepts may appear to be abstract, but one has a greater impact on people's identities and lives than the other. Their influence is vast, and it can have a significant impact on society's functioning. People frequently classify others based on their race, which is deeply ingrained in their minds. This can have a negative impact on others and should not be done on a regular basis. Although someone may be of a particular race, there should be no prejudice in how they act. Others' expectations, on the other hand, can influence how people construct their identities. Some minorities are expected to adopt certain behavioural patterns as a result of racism. regardless of background or race People should be judged on their actions, not their skin colour or where they live.

The same can be said of ethnicity. People in more developed parts of the world, for example, may have specific expectations of people from other cultures. These expectations are frequently negative and, in some cases, incorrect. They are frequently prejudiced. As a result, those who belong to a certain culture can develop a strong sense of belonging to it. They will be able to shape their identities as humans in this way. It is critical to appreciate the importance of treating everyone with respect.

While race and ethnicity share a shared ancestry theory, they are distinct in fundamental aspects. Recognizing something's existence has an impact on one's identity. People's sense of self-identity, or who they are, is very important to them. A person's identity is frequently shaped by their race. As a result, motivation and hatred provides a case for how race shapes an individual's identity. As oppressed African Americans face more challenges in society, their circumstances encourage them to persevere and thrive in the face of adversity. When President Lyndon B. Johnson gave his speech 'The American Promise,' he presented these concepts. His address emphasised his concerns for the country while also fighting for equality.

Ethnicity is a good example of this. People from more developed parts of the world, for example, may have different expectations of people from different cultures. These expectations are frequently negative and incorrect. They are frequently prejudiced. This explains why members of specific cultures might have a strong sense of belonging to that culture. In this way, they can create their identity, which shapes them as a person. It's critical to remember that we should respect everyone, regardless of colour or ethnicity. People should be assessed on the merits of their actions rather than the colour of their skin or the country in which they reside.

Despite the fact that these two concepts appear to be abstract, one more so than the other, they have a significant impact on people's identities and how they live their lives. Their power is significant, and they can have a significant impact on how civilizations operate. People's perceptions of others are often shaped by their race, which is deeply ingrained in their minds. This is something that can have a bad impact on others and should not be repeated. There should be no discrimination based on a person's colour when it comes to how they should act. Others' expectations, on the other hand, can have an impact on how people construct their identities. It is reasonable to assume that some minorities have adopted specific patterns of behaviour as a result of racism.

My cultural identity is characterized by my race mainly skin colour and other physical characteristics according to social class and ethnicity. Ethnicity is classified according to behaviour, cultural knowledge and my cultural identity. Cultural backgrounds come out as a result of different reasons. My cultural identity have been shaped by my cultural backgrounds which have influenced how I interpret the world around me, perceive myself and relate with other people.

To conclude, first and foremost, we should attempt to differentiate between race and ethnicity, because some people may not understand the distinction. These terms are frequently used interchangeably, especially when discussing the diversity of our society. It is actually not that difficult to distinguish between the two terms. Race is defined primarily by physical characteristics, but it also includes some cultural and behavioural characteristics. Ethnicity, on the other hand, refers to the state of belonging to a specific culture, usually different social groups or even nations. Race is genetic, whereas ethnicity is acquired through life.

In this case, attending school with separate children will not provide you with the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their ways of life and thinking. Because of a lack of information, ignorance breeds prejudice and hatred. This type of hatred has often resulted in a great deal of pain and sadness. Many wars have begun as a result of insane prejudice based on incorrect thinking and trying to manipulate people's ignorance.

To avoid negative thinking and growing up in a racialized society, people should learn about other cultures, travel to different countries, and accept people of different skin colours.
