Analysis Of The Advertisement “Don’t Judge Anything Too Quick”

The probability of watching advertisement is high and individuals can hardly miss to watch it especially when they are watching television or browsing the internet. The odd of stumbling one self to an advertisement is a complete zero as it is everywhere. Not only in our phones, between the TV’s programme but also on the billboard right across the street and even on the one side of the traffic light! Amongst the advertisements that we have watched, there’s one advertisement that caught our attentions. It is an advertisement with the caption of “Don’t judge anything too quick”. The advertisement produced from Thailand and published on 2017 through a Youtube channel called BankShooter TH portrays how easy the society assume or judge someone when they receive a bit of information from the media.

The advertisement starts with a car arrives at a market carrying a middle aged woman along with her driver and her assistance who cries over a sad clip he watched in his phone. As soon as they enter the market, the middle aged woman called Boss Da starts to nag everyone in the market as the market looks dirty and she tells everyone to get their monthly rent ready for her to collect. One of the marketer offers a coconut to drink and give her the rent as she drinks it. Then, her assistances call her to come over to one of the stall in the market where a middle aged man is selling raw chicken meat. As soon as she comes over, she becomes all mad and furious that she throws the scale that the marketer owns to the floor and breaks it into pieces. One of the customer records the incident as Boss Da gets mad and yells at the marketer about how she has been talking to him regarding the matter and he doesn’t follow her rules. The customer then uploads the video of Boss Da. The society are not having it. They starts to leave comments saying how Boss Da’s actions are sick and they think she is completely being rude and doesn’t respect other people. People starts to feel overwhelm on how Boss Da treat the stall owners in her market saying that the stall owners are not doing anything wrong. The society especially the social media users started to search for the market and share the location with others.

People are more piss off when another video of Boss Da taking few trays of goods sold from a stall owner and claimed that she’s confiscating goods from anyone who can’t pay the rent. The society starts to call her names such as bloodsucker saying she’s the devil one in the situation saying how she’s oppressing the poor. Another video appears and shows how Boss Da instruct her two assistances to carry one of her stall owners to a corner. The video leaves such huge impact to the viewers saying how she is vicious to drag an elderly to beat him up. The society then decides to boycott her market and agree not to come to the market in order to make Boss Da bankrupt.

One of Boss Da’s assistance which is the guy with big curly hair who cries in the first scene over a sad clip, notices that his boss is all over the internet and becomes famous over some videos. Boss Da takes the phone away from her assistances when she sees that both of them are busy gushing over the gadget and she looks hurt when she reads all the comments on her videos. It turns out that all of the stall owners read the comments and watch how the society get mad at their boss. When her assistance asks her what’s her action next regarding this matter, she answers that they should do everything the same as always. She tells her assistances that they should still collect the rent, same as always and make sure that every stall owners keep everything fair and square, making sure that the incident where the middle aged man who sells raw chicken meat cheats to his customer by changing the scales doesn’t happen again.

Boss Da tells her assistances to make sure that they take good care of the stall owners as always like when she asks them to carry one of her stall owners and give him a massage. Buy the goods that her stall owner sells when no one’s buying it and help them out as always. Boss Da says to keep on providing them a place to make a living just like how she helps the guy who sells coconut and the deaf girl who sells garlands from selling it on the street to selling it in her market. She asks her assistances to keep on carrying their task as usual, taking care not only her market but also the people who are making a living under her roof. This advertisement deliver the message that instead of jumping into such conclusion, one should get themselves to take a step back and actually look over two side of the story instead of only lending their ears and eyes to hear one side only. The advertisement teaches that in order to build or create a better society, the society needs to stop making assumptions and judgements over one issues that is still invalid and the details of sources are not crystal and vivid.
