M.Tech (Masters of Technology) is not a good option as it just pushes the engineering graduate deeper into the hole that they were trying to get out of. This is why an MBA in India seems like a better way to erase the past follies and start life afresh. Student profile of IIM Ahmedabad shows that there are 93% Engineers, 2% Commerce, 2% arts, 3% science students, which clearly shows the dominance of engineers. Which means how much engineering prefer doing MBA over anything else.

Now the question arises why Engineers decide to pursue an MBA (PGDM) after graduation. There are two main reasons behind that 1. Halfway their graduation and getting familiar with various mind-boggling subjects’ students lose interest in the course and decide to go for a management course, 2. The realization that in our country MBA graduates get paid more than the graduate engineer.
