Back in the Great Depression of 1929 a lot of people didn't have jobs and where stacking up a lot of debt the prices for things where high and a lot of the banks were closed down it was a hard time but things started to get better once FDR established the New Deal.

The importance of this quote is the act was suppose to help people get back to work so they can start to go back to their normal live and 3 million men had to work at a lot of parks and do varys tasks. This was hard because they only got paid for every task they did but with so many people doing these tasks it was still pretty hard to make a living. The only reason why FDR was able to establish the deal was because he was good friends with Harry Hopkins the governor of New York. FDR turned to to him because of his 20 years of experience with social work. Lots of people were hoping there would the act would provide everyone a lot of different types of jobs for them to work for to get paid.

The New Deal changed history by helping many people get back on their feet but it also created a act that would keep banks from closing, which would insure that something like the great depression would not happen. The Emergency Banking Act of 1933 would supply it will unlimited amount of currency that would keeping from shutting down. History would have never been the same if the New Deal would not have existed things could have gotten a lot worse and the outcome of the future would be uncertain because no one would know what it would bring. We would have been unprepared for a lot of the things that we are dealing will today if the New Deal was not established history would have surely repeated itself eventually without it.

The final reason why the New Deal was so important was because it had successful results.

The New Deal was successful not everything worked out but in the long run it had some great effects on the economy and the government and as well as its citizens. The best thing the Deal did for its citizens was The Emergency Relief Act because it brought a lot of work to people that needed it to get their life moving again. The overall results of The New Deal had about and 82% success rate in the end it was a fantastic idea.
