My Practices Of Digital Devices Use

What will happen if we do not have technology right now? Some digital devices are our life’s necessities, such as cell phones, computers, and digital cameras. They made our life more convenient and faster. The society has been dramatically changed with the evolution of technology. Immense opportunities are being provided by technologies which play an important role in human life. The access to education, medicine, industry, transportation etc. has been simplified due to modern day technology. Due to the convenience and efficiency provided by technology, our lives have improved significantly. Thanks to modern technology, a lot of burdens have been lifted up from our shoulders and we have more time and energy to do what we want to. I use digital devices every day; in the rest of this essay will present my experience with digital devices.

My first encounter with computers was when my neighbors got their very first Microsoft computer. I can remember going over to their house and waiting to play on their computer. Computers were very newfangled for me. All I wanted to play with was the paint-brush program because I thought it was the neatest thing to be able to move something with your hand and have a picture created for you on the screen according to what your hand did. After few months, my family bought it, i use it to search pictures, and sometimes play some online games. In that point, everyone plays computer games, they are very popular in my country. When I came into middle school, some of my classmates got cell phones, so I begged my mom to buy one for me. I did housework for one month, then i got my first cell phone. That is a keypad phone. I used it for 2years. Later, smart phones came out; they are very attractive; I always search the smart phones online, to find appropriate one. Finally, my mom bought it for my birthday gift. My mother held a red box in her hand decorated with an enormous green bow. “Happy birthday!” she exclaimed. I quickly began unwrapping my gift. Could it be what I was thinking? Finally below the words “SAMSUNG” was the image of a smart phone. I was so excited about it. Smart phones developed very quickly, i have changed several phones. Most of application came out and become very popular, such as Facebook and Instagram (U.S), Wechat and QQ (China). They are the most popular social apps until right now. My experience with QQ is that we can talk to friends easily and get quick respond. Also, make some online friends to talk to, make our life more interesting. In China, people can use Wechat to pay any bills and transfer money. I do not know before until this summer i came back to China, it is very great and easy to our life. We do not need to carry a lot of cash when we need to buy something. Smart phones and Wechat is a very common for us.

My parents like traveling, so we always use the digital camera. They take a lot of picture about us. These becomes our best memories, photos and cameras help us to remember what happened when we doing something. Technology has becomes more and more convenience; we just need to take a picture by our smart phones. But, the memories will never be replaced.

Technology becomes more and more useful, and functions are more complete. We have to use it appropriate to make our life better. But, do not forget the meaningful family memories.
