With respect TO Nutrition: 1) CTS can be healed with removing sugar from your diet which means cutting off refined sugar completely as suggested by many medical expert’s. 2) Vitamins are essential in healing almost most of the medical conditions, especially for CTS. Vitamins B1 and B6 should play an important role in your diet while trying to heal CTS, you can add them to your diet with supplements. Similarly, good amount of magnesium is also a vital supplement that you must be taking to improve your healing. 3) Consuming Herbs on a daily basis is every Doctor’s recommendation to a person with CTS for example turmeric, cayenne and ashwaganda mostly. The best way to take these herbs is with water.
HEALING CTS WITH EXERCISING THE WRIST: There are many different exercises that can help a person to heal carpal tunnel syndrome. Most commonly used exercises are Wrist Flex and Extending, Thumb Touches, Basic Wrist Stretches and Fist to Stop Signs etc.
WRIST TO FLEX AND EXTENDING: You can perform this in your home by Holding your arms straight in front of you, your palms of hands should be facing towards the ground and your wrist and hands should be straight. Then Bend your wrist down so the fingers are pointing towards the floor, after this you should use your other hand to pull the finger of your hands towards your body and hold it for a couple of seconds or a minute.
THUMB TOUCHES: This is an easy exercise u can perform just by touching the tip of your fingers to your thumbs one at a time each and keep repeating it for some time.
BASIC WRIST STRETCHES: This is a complicated exercise which is pretty effective in healing CTS. You can perform it by sitting on a table with your elbows and arms in a stationary position and the wrist of your hand should be hanging on the side with your hand palm facing up. Start it with your hands which are in a neutral position. Try bending your hands towards yourself so that your fingers point towards the ceiling, then hold them for 5-10 seconds. Then return to your previous position and do this again for some time. Repeat this for 3 days and you will notice a good change.
FIST TO STOP SIGNS: For this one you have to make a fist and Slide your fingers slowly one by one towards the ceiling, as if your telling someone to stop by your hand. Repeat 5-10 times a day.
