Examining the Research Methods Utilized in Case Studies

Surveys. One of the research methods used in accumulating the data is by surveys. In this case, data and information was presented was collected from a large group of people by means of interviews and telephoning. The data entailed determining opinions of people about being happy. One on the strengths of the method is its ability to collect data from a large number of respondents. It has collected a broad range data. However, its weakness is high risk of errors in the results. The responded providing the data could not have been comfortable (Wyse 1). When, respondents are not comfortable, they can generate responses that are not valid.

Experiments. In the experiments research methods, the researcher collects data after performing various tests. It has been used in the article and its weaknesses include gathering of little data and too much time wasting. However, it strengths include higher levels of accuracy and provision of valid data due to use of controls groups (Leylaosman 1). The results are perfectly accurate because they are based on the given verified experimental outcomes.

Cases Studies. The article uses cases studies in collecting its data. The researcher performed a detail investigation of the given cases to come up with the answers. The weakness of the method is its narrow focus on data collection and incompatible data vlaues. However, the strengths are its ability to provide accurate data as well as rooms for conducting scientific research (Leylaosman 1). In this case, a researcher can perform the experiment to verify a certain concept presented in the case study.

Conclusion 1. The first chart on page 28 presents a very moving data about the “Wise Words on Finding Fulfilment”. Accordingly, this renowned philosopher presents very captivating statements about life. Steve Jobs wants people to be happy of what they are doing as a way of seeking happiness. Any Rand also explains why people do not find happiness by seeking command of emotions (Wyse 1). The data collected about these individuals has been arranged in an orderly. Supposedly, its impact to readers happiness is assured.

Conclusion 2. Part 2 also presents a chart describing why people should have joy. The chart has a graph that shows actions people are taking to be happy. A large percentage shows that they are praying while a few go for shopping to obtain joy. The graph presents reasons making people to reduce their happiness due to social media. Clearly, various things are thwarting people from attaining joy in life. These include not having sex, not eating, and not attaining a goal. These things should be reduced to increase the chances of a person gaining happiness.

Conclusion 3. The third chart presents the states of happiness. Accordingly, people in different part of the world face the problems that determine their states of happiness. Factors such as unemployment, labor demand, civil war, women violence, poverty, and other social problems determine the level of happiness of people on the global basis. The chart has collected data gathered from different parts of the world to explain reasons causing the changes in the levels of happiness. From the analysis, it is clear that the people do not like poverty and will mostly associate with unhappiness.
