Firstly, Canada is one of the high economical countries, but post-secondary does not free for all students. It can influence social inequality between high-income families and low-income families in Canada. Often, high-income students whose parents pay for their learning think like this, they pay for tuition, so college does not have the right to deduct them, and they have to oblige to set off because they paid a lot of money. As a result, the students do not pay enough attention to their education. Such students do not think about acquiring the necessary knowledge, but they aim only at obtaining a Canadian diploma. However, what is about low-income families in Canada which are the most talented people, but not all of them can pay for education. The Canadian government is losing the ability to identify these brilliant minds, which can make significant changes in different areas of life. According to the article, “Here's just how much poverty can hold kids back: @ReadLocalLove,” (2019). In Canada, only “31 percent of youth from the bottom income quartile attended post-secondary education compared with 50.2 percent in the top income quartile.” “Once again, the evidence indicates that students from low-income families are disadvantaged right through the education system to postsecondary training.”

Secondly, Canada has huge unemployment which is the level of education directly affects the likelihood of employment of young Canadians. For example, young people with vocational education, especially higher education, the risks of unemployment and the time for finding the first job are less. As an adult, a person must use his or her potential in some kind of activity. There is a problem of unemployment in our world; thousands of people are on the streets. There are two reasons for this: a person has not received an education and is guilty himself, the second is the unfairness of financing. According to the article, Jaaskelainen (n.d.) between “2008 and 2009, Canada’s economy entered a recession phase. During the economic recession, Canada’s unemployment rate peaked at 8.3 percent, which was an increase of 2.2 percent over the pre-recession unemployment level, and roughly amounted to 1.52 million unemployed persons”. The government is responsible for finding a new plan to decrease massive unemployment in Canada. The Canadian government has to pay close attention to post-secondary education and make it free.

Finally, the Canadian government is responsible for making post-secondary education more affordable because Canadian students have challenges for payment of education. According to the article, “How much does it cost to study in Canada?”(2018), people who are domestic students in Canada, they have to pay an average of CA$6,838 per year for scholar degree, and CA$7,086 per year for a graduate degree. The regular tuition costs for international students in 2018/19 are CA$27,159 (~US$20,600) per year. Canadian education is more expensive in other countries. The fact, “there are no undergraduate tuition fees at most public universities in Germany, and this applies to both German students and internationals, regardless of nationality. Just a small nominal university fee is charged, of around €150-250 (~US$170-280), to cover administration costs” (Where Can You Study Abroad for Free? 2019). However, free post-secondary education in Canada would assist eliminate the financial barriers impeding access to all members of Canadian society, therefore creating more of a balance between Canadian’s many different cultural and financial communities.

In conclusion, in the modern world, the availability of quality education is becoming an increasingly important component of the overall socio-economic and cultural development of the state. Also, the global trends in educational development, such as its commercialization, only exacerbate the existing inequality of people in terms of access to post-secondary education. However, even the poorest people have the opportunity to pursue their goals and be productive in society. Without free education, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
