Bangladesh is an agricultural country. About 65% of this sector is based on aquaculture. But for lacking of enough concentration on this sector, there are very few improvements. To make it better and easy for the farmers, we are introducing Solar Powered Automated Fish Feeder. It is a device that will disperse foods to the fishes at a predetermined time. It ensures that the fishes get right amount of foods at the right time. Mostly farmers feed fishes manually which is time consuming and causes wastage of fish food. Manual feeding is a lengthy process with needing of more manpower and costing money. But this device will help to maintain time and decrease the amount of food get wasted during manual feeding. This device can control 8 dispersing blower machines which will help the farmers to cover any large ponds to feed fishes. If they go on a vacation or unable to feed fishes on time, they can set the time in advance and the device will automatically disperse food.
Automatic system has brought revolutionary changes in existing technologies. To make works easy and comfortable and to get highest efficiency, the changes in daily tech life is a blessing for us. To improve the quality and continuity of the device, there will be two kind of power sources connected with the device. First of all, there will be a connection of power through power grid and the other source the solar energy. If for any reason, the connection with the main power grid gets cut out then the connection with the solar panel will be constructed automatically. The system runs automatically with regard to setting time. An input is needed to be given to the timer to set a time for dispensing the foods. It will allow adjustable feed quantity and precise feeding at appropriate time. It will also help to prevent overeating of fishes to maintain healthy fishes. It is important for them who are in aquaculture business to ensure the health of fishes to get more cultivation of fishes.
RELATED WORKS A SMART FISH FEEDER SYSTEM
This development of automatic fish feeder intelligent system that could alerts aquarist through GSM modem. The mechanical and electrical part in the system consists of PIC microcontroller, GSM modem, keypad, ultrasonic sensor and geared DC motor and is shown in figure 1. The feeder will distribute fish pellets at predetermined time on the other hand if the sensor is triggered when the fish food level is low, the controller would give instructions to the GSM modem to send a text message to alert the aquarist. The block diagram of the automatic fish feeder system consists of various blocks such as LCD, Driver circuit, Relay, GSM Modem, Keypad, RTC, Ultrasonic sensor and Oscillator.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
The success rate of fish farming depends on by many things, such as feed management and environmental management of fish habitats [4]. An adequate and appropriate amount of feeding determines fish growth, as excessive feeding will lead to deterioration in air quality and oxygen [5], [6]. The main habitats of are freshwater and brackish water, with certain salinity levels. According to this condition, pond water quality should be monitored periodically for maximum shrimp growth. In this time, water quality monitoring has been done automatically but the anticipation action is still done manually.
The main parameters to be monitored are the temperature and dissolved oxygen levels due to the increase of these two factors, will affect the salinity, the pH of the water, and the dissolved CO2 content in water [1], [2]. dissolved in water should always be maintained within the optimal range. There are many ways to maintained the range. For example to lower the water temperature and to increase dissolved oxygen levels, we use waterwheel [3], [4]. In the environmental management of fish habitats, especially in water quality management, there are several parameters that become the reference.
