In my opinion, I think the most part of the video is using the theory of David Kolb. At first, when the little girl observed the ice cream seller the video is already using Kolb’s experiential learning theory. Her mother taught her to learn through by watching and feeling how others seller selling their things. After watching, the girl starts to think what methods they’re using and she follows exactly. She saw the tenders using signboard or some advertisement board to attract the people attention, so she do it by herself and with price on it.

David Kolb believes that knowledge comes from a combination of experience and conversion experience. So, in this video in the first scene when the little girl didn’t know how to cut the pineapple she just observed how her mother showed her and followed exactly. The little girl in the video is diverger style. She is able to look at things from different perspectives and sensitive.

For me this is really a bad attitude for children, they will think that no matter what they do is just all wrong so they will not be confident to try doing new things.

Other that, by using David Kolb’s theory will let the children fully invest in a new experience for example while teaching moral, we can have role play for children like let the kids to act am elder people need some help and one kid acts the teenager that helps the elder so that can teach how to do it but not just through the book.

Lastly, by using David Kolb’s theory the children will understand and absorb more for example if I am teaching the topic of fruits I will not just show the pictures for the children but bring the real fruits to let the children feel and taste so that they will be clear and understand better what fruits is all about.
