Mexico has many cultural traditions, a lot of history, and a big population of people and land mass. Mexico is known for the amazing sights, the incredible food, and family oriented traditions. Mexico is a rapid growing country that is run by states and a federal district. Many people live in the cities of Mexico but some live in rural areas. Mexico is a country full of entertainment, family filled customs, and fun.

The culture of Mexico includes many traditions and customs. Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, Las Posadas, Bull Fighting, and Cinco de Mayo. Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a holiday that is from November 1st to November 2nd and it is believed that the dead can come back in spirit and celebrate with their family. It is celebrated by dressing up, painting faces as skulls, and having big parties that include dancing and rejoicing. Las Posadas is also a tradition. Los Posadas is in December and it is to remember Mary and Joseph and their journey to Bethlehem. They have food, drink, and they name one kid the “angle”. Another tradition that is celebrated is BullFighting. BullFighting is the national sport of Mexico and is also known as Charreria. BullFighting is known as a big entertainment in the Mexican culture. It is held at the Plaza Mexico and it holds 48,000 people. One custom that Mexico celebrates and that is also known in America is, Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo, translated to May the 5th, and is known as a very important date in Mexican culture. It is a day to remember Mexico’s victory over France from their fight in 1862. They celebrate by having the little kids help make pinatas, crafts, and food. All of these amazing customs from the Mexican culture also have amazing history behind them just life the country itself.

Mexico is a country that has 31 states in it and a federal district. Mexico is home to the most Spanish speaking people in the world. Even though there have been political changes in Mexico, many other things like ethics and ways of life have stayed the same. Many towns in Mexico and the lifestyle of the people are ran just like their families that came generations before. In fact, a lot of things that were brought or started by their ancestors have remained the same.

The first society in Mexico was started on the Gulf Coast. The first society was called Olmecs. The Olmec society had two different groups that lasted for two different time periods. In southern Mexico, agriculture played a big role in the villages. The main crops that were produced were sugar cane, corn, sorghum, wheat, and beans. They also grew fruits and vegetables. America and Mexico traded goods. Mexico could trade fruits and vegetables for fish and meat from America. In recent years, Mexico has had success with crop growth and production. There are several reasons why they were able to have successful growth in crops. One reason is because they have had good land to grow them on. Another reason is because they now have a different ruler that is giving them more freedom and rules to better help them with their crops. They are now able to buy and sell land. Even though there are amazing things that are improving, just like in every other country, there are still things that need to be improved. One thing that is slowing down agriculture is the unbalance of people to land mass.

Mexico is the 12th largest country in the world. It currently has a population of 129.2 million people and 487.4 million acre of land. Even though it may seem like this is enough land to even have extra room, once you begin to think about the houses people live in, the places or barns they keep their things, and the land that they grow crops or have other projects like animals on, you begin to realize that is actually not all of the land that you thought. Mexico is also growing in population every day, but even though they population grows, the land that is given does not. It is so amazing that they are able to produce successful crops right now because you never know the amount and quality of land that Mexico might have in just another 5 to 10 years. Each state in Mexico has anywhere from a few thousand people to millions. One of the least populated states has around 600,000 people and the most populated cities has around 8.5 million people. The city with the least amount to people is Colima, and the capital of Mexico, Mexico City is the most populated. Mexico is a steadily growing country and over 1 million people are born in Mexico every year. According to this, in 2025, the population will be around 135.5 million people.

Mexico has so much to look forward to in the future. As Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and the future leaders lead the country on, great success in the population, agriculture, and much more with come. Mexico has been faced with multiple challenges over the years, but as they continue to work, they have fought their way through. The amount of tourists that went to Mexico last year was 35 million people. From all of these visitors, the country makes an average of $5 billion and with this money they are able to better their country and help those that live in it. Some say that going to Mexico is an unforgettable experience and that Mexico is full of entertainment, family filled customs, and fun.
