The Importance Of Knowing The Purpose Of A Thing
Carbon dioxide which is one of the by-products released by these oxygen using creatures are then used by plants to manufacture their food and more oxygen and the circle of life continues. Each is created to serve the purpose of the other. It will only be foolish and irrational to think that nature is purposeless. The order and the complexity of natural phenomenon points to the single fact that all things are designed and caused to manifest in this physical plane of existence by God.
I attended a trade fair one time to see what the different manufacturers had come to showcase. As an external observer I could only know the purpose of some certain products by having conversation with the designer or inventor of those products. I realized that only the designer/inventor can give the external observer a thorough explanation of why he created his product, the idea behind such product and the purpose the product is meant to fulfill.
Even on some other occasions when I saw products I was familiar with and didn’t think I needed to ask much questions, I realized I still had more to learn about them as I was under utilizing the ones I had. Another revelation from the fair was that through the observations of the parts of some of the new products, I couldn’t very much easily tell how they functioned or what purpose they were made for. The manufacturer always knew more.
If a product must be rightly used for the reason it was created to serve, it is critical that the user has a thorough understanding of the product and its purpose. Failure to come to this understanding would lead to the abuse of the product. You are a product created by God. God has a unique purpose for creating you. There is a purpose He has designed you to fulfill. If you by ignorance become unaware of this intended purpose of God for your life, you will spend your life chasing shadows at the expense of God’s original purpose for your life, except you find yourself living the purpose by default; which, well I cannot guarantee. Living outside your purpose will leave you unfulfilled and miserable.
I am sure you don’t want that to happen to you. Not wanting that to happen to you won’t happen by chance, you must make conscious effort to discover your own purpose, it is for that reason that this book was written.
