Stephen Hawking: The Man Who Changed Science
Stephen Hawking was one of the greatest scientists of our time, with his discoveries of the centre of a black hole and the Hawking radiation. He won several awards and got the nickname Einstein because of his intelligence. Stephen never believed in God, he thought the world started with a “Big Bang.” Stephen Hawking was remembered greatly today because of his brains and all the books that he has wrote. Also he had a disease called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis where he slowly became paralyzed. When he became ill he had to sit in this special chair which made it so that he cloud move around and had a voice box so that he could talk.
Stephen Hawking was born in Hawksford England on January 8, 1942 where later he went to the University of Cambridge at age 17. Later after he graduated he became a physicists. Over years while he was working he wrote 15 books. His father was a medical researcher and his mother was just going into college. During Hawking's early teen years, he and his friends put together a computer built from recycled parts. After he finished college he became a member of Astronomy at Cambridge.
His first book that he wrote was named the large scale structure of space and time. Shortly after he discovered what black holes really are. He demonstrated that they are not vacuums but explained in the form of radiation, where it can escape the force of the gravitational pull. Later he won a Albert Einstein award, which was an award higher among all the other awards.
In 2015, Stephen came to a conference in Sweden to discuss new theories about black holes and the “information paradox.” In 2018 Hawking was explaining what the universe looked like before the ‘big bang.” He said that there was no boundaries to the universe. In 2007 Hawking was able to travel to the Kennedy Space Centre where he could experience the earth with no gravity. Stephen was able to get out of his chair and float above ground.
In conclusion Stephen Hawking was one of the greatest scientists for his way of thinking about the world, his discoveries, and all of the books he has written. Later he lost his life on March 14, 2018 to the disease. He inspired tons of people with his work and discoveries.
