Shakespeare Times VS Modern Times Jealousy
Jealousy has raged through people of society forever. The psychology of jealousy is complex, but understandable, and how people acted it out was different in Shakespeare’s time. The science behind enviness honestly isn't just an added or learned emotion. There's something that actually goes on with the brain. When people say there jealous there many things that goes on in the brain and theres alot of different types of jealousy as well.
Things that may make a person for example, if someone flirts with your girl or something they cant have or achieve that someone has. Jealousy is rooted in fear, fear of oneself being alone or rejected. Also its when a person has procliam. So there for its a natural emotion to experiences sometime in a person’s life. In the brain when a person is jealous. They have neurological spikes in the frontal lobes;controls of emotions and physical pain. Which triggers the brain in a response for a chemical reaction and hormonal reaction. How ever, how an individual portrays oneself toward the situation. Like crying, anger, or sadness.
Also jealousy is a possessive thing. Meaning as the feeling that a person is theirs and theirs only. Typically a Romantic, relationship thing. Its a very complex feeling, but also understandable. Like if a brother wanted to be king he would most likely kill him, so he could be the next up for the throne. Jealousy really was expressed in a harmful way; and still can be. The conclusion is that enviness is a normal part of life. But it depends on how you handle it. Modern times and shakespeare times were very different. People aren't that extreme any more. .
