Seasons of the Year in the United States of America and in Ecuador
The axis of the Earth is slightly inclined in relation to its orbit around the sun. For that reason, there are some seasons, however, the timing and characteristics of each season depend of the places and their location on the earth. Ecuador is located on the middle of the world, for this reason, it has two seasons, the summer in Ecuador lasts longer than the winter, approximately seven to eight months, while the winter only last four to five months. But what makes special to Ecuador is the weather, where people from the coast region can wear normally, even when it is winter. For that reason, Ecuadorians can do normal daily activities, enjoy the beautiful beaches and travel around this country, since Ecuador has many touristic places with great weather independently if it is winter or summer.
On the other hand, The United States of America has four seasons; spring and summer characterized by high temperatures whereas, winter and autumn have low temperatures; due to its location on the northern hemisphere. Every season usually lasts 3 months so Americans have to spend more money on buying clothes and food. Nevertheless, Americans can enjoy every season doing many things such as practice ice sports, go to the beach, or watching flowers flourishing. In both countries people can practice sports and do other activities to survive like agriculture, planting and harvest, but it last only in the winter and seldom in summer, because farmers benefit of the raining and the sun for do not spend a lot of money in the irrigation for their crops.
Ultimately, all these characteristics have impressed me because, in The United States of America, Americans can enjoy of all the seasons while Ecuadorians only two, it all depends on the location because Ecuador is located on the middle of the world thus it has great weather independently of each season, therefore it could be an aspect different for foreign people.
