In case of accidents the system will detects the vehicle that would suddenly decelerated upon collision. If the message already sends to the microcontroller, the GPS&GSM module attach to the microcontroller, will send the coordinates of the vehicle to the person contacted with the microcontroller for search and rescue that commits accidents.
Pedometer Application
This application is intended for calculating the calories burned, by counting user steps, show the distance approximately, and the user’s speed. Example of this application is the Accupedo-Pro Pedometer because this application it measures the approximate distance calculated by user’s paces, affecting the precision of calories calculation but cannot measure’s the speed of the user accurately.
Calorie Counting Application
This Application help the users keep track on their meals, exercise and weight every day. Example of this application is the Calorie Counter by Fat Secret. It works by providing necessaries information such as foods, nutrition facts and calories burned from every exercise you made. Although the calories burned by the users activities will be recorded and counted in the application. But the calories counting does not come from the real practice, incorrect results maybe get.
GPS based Advanced Vehicle Tracking and Vehicle Control System
It is a system that can easily track the vehicles location through GPS and GSM modules. He uses to create this system for remotely track the vehicles location, switch on and off the vehicle and remotely lock and unlock the vehicle. By the used of GSM module, an SMS message will be sent to the system and the system will send the message again upon request by doing actions.
Obstacle detection using a 2D LIDAR system for an Autonomous Vehicle
Manuel Ramos (2016) developed a system to perform obstacle detection. One particular sensor for this system is the LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) system is it applicable for measuring the distance of the objects. It characterized by 2D LIDAR system because it is using LIDAR light v1 for obstacle detection among autonomous vehicle. This system detects the obstacle by a width of 1meter and distances of 10 meters.
