Religion is a great thing if you dont abuse it. Personally I think that religion is awesome. Some people think that its a load of crap but not me. One thing I love about living in the United States is that we have freedom of religion and people cant take that from us. To some people religion is a scary thing. It can be if you dont obey what you are supposed to do for that religion. Some people are also scared about dying because they dont know if there is a heaven and or a hell. Well, from a first hand experience I know there is a god and I know there is heaven and hell. Religion is your own thing, it is your choice on what you believe in and or live up to. Religion is a huge mystery to some people that havent grown up around it and have no idea what it really is. But its really not scary at all.

The thing that bugs me about religion is your parents are always trying to get you to go to church or go on church trips. In my opinion that is wrong and with them doing that it makes it sound like its their religion and not yours. That is wrong. Religion is your choice and you shouldnt be forced into it. I like it and I attend church and obey the rules, but I hate when my parental units try to make me go because then it turns into there religion and not mine. Another thing about religion that gets me going is when people always look at you and thinks that you have to be perfect. Then when you turn your back they are the ones talking trash or doing something that isnt right and aww man that gets me going. Its your choice and only your choice

There are several types of religion I will tell you a few of them. There is Buddhism, Christianity, Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, and Hindu. I will tell you a little about each of those religions. Buddhism is a religion where the people of all areas worship this big fat dude called Buddha. The true definition of Buddhism is the teaching of Buddha that life is permeated with suffering caused by desire, that suffering ceases when desire ceases, and that enlightenment obtained through right conduct, wisdom, and meditation releases one from desire, suffering, and rebirth. Then there is Christianity and that religion is based on Jesus Christ. The definition of that religion would be founded on the life and teachings of Jesus. Catholic is the relating to those churches that have claimed to be representatives of the ancient undivided church. Baptist is an evangelical Protestant church of congregational polity, following the reformed tradition in worship, and believing in individual freedom, in the separation of church and state, and in baptism of voluntary, conscious believers. The Jewish religion consists of or pertaining to the Jews or Hebrews; characteristic of or resembling the Jews or their customs; Israelites. Last but not least Hindu. Hindu is a religion that is A diverse body of religion, philosophy, and cultural practice native to and predominant in India, characterized by a belief in reincarnation and a supreme being of many forms and natures, by the view that opposing theories are aspects of one eternal truth, and by a desire for liberation from earthly evils. Those are most of the religions around the world that I am aware of and or familiar with.

As you can see there are several types of religion out in the world today. I would be willing to bet that almost every human in the world has some kind of religion even if it consist of being by yourself and smoking a peace pipe while reading a ski magazine. Well I dont know if you would call that religion but you get what I am saying. Everyone in this world can do what they want with their religion and their beliefs. Thats one great thing about freedom of religion. You can believe in anything you want. If its right or not I dont know, that is your choice. But personally I believe in Christianity. I think there is like 63% or something like that, that believe Christianity in the world. But I am not 100% sure. I think the best thing about religion is that there is always something that you can look up at and be surprised on what you find out. You will never know everything about religion. Its like a continuous chain, right when you think you know everything you find out new stuff about your religion. Its kind of cool how its such a mystery.

The true definition of religion is a set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. So if that is true and you believe that going out every day on the grass and meditating for an hour and read the Bible or the book that you believe in is your religion then by definition its ok. But if you ask me I dont think that is true. What they are saying is, if you believe that I dont know say red is a spiritual color and that you worship something that is red and you believe that it is God. That is dumb in a way. I think religion is having a written book and disciples that give you proof.

Religion to me is having a true god or spirit to believe in that gives you evidence to believe in with reasoning and proof. Well you really dont need proof. I think all you need to have a religion is your Bible or book that you believe. With that you can go anywhere and read it and learn more about the word and worship. You dont need to have a huge group of people to go out and have a gathering to believe in the religion of your choice. Just you and whatever you think you need. Religion is up to you and its free, so make the choice you want to and decide on what you are going to choose. One thing that is so great about it is you can do whatever you want and people cant say anything. You could go and read your Bible at school and by law they cant say put that up. Religion and speech are a lot alike you can say anything you want by law and not get in trouble and thats pretty much how religion is.
