Within the past decade, Artificial Intelligence has increased in its advantage based off humans improving life across every spectrum. The next one hundred years is set to pave the way for a dramatic technological upheaval.

The expansive goal of Artificial Intelligence has raised many questions and debates. Due to the fact, that there is no singular definition of the field that can be universally accepted. We're talking about neural networks from the likes of Google's DeepMind, which can make connections and reach meanings without relying on pre-defined behavioral algorithms. True A.I. can improve on past iterations, getting smarter and more aware, allowing it to enhance its capabilities and its knowledge,” (Adams, 2017). The major key in defining Artificial Intelligence is simply machines that are becoming intelligent.

Artificial Intelligence is not limited to just the technology industry, it is also being used extensively in other areas. Companies like Apple, Amazon, and Tesla has revolutionary change how people interact with machine learning technology. Some examples of Artificial Intelligence are:

These are some of the popular examples of artificial intelligence that’s being used today. One must keep in mind that AI is not limited to technology and information technology (IT), it can be developed in all forms that are considered a machine and that can learn the human interactions based off the multiple approaches of science.

Artificial Intelligence has been impacting the future of humans and industries, it has acted as the main driver of emerging technologies like big data and robotics and will continue to act as an innovator for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, current artificial intelligence systems based on deep learning that are capable of learning symmetrical mathematical functions. However, they are unable to distinguish the cause and effect in the relations for which is why humans are still needed to help fixated this problem.

The benefits of Artificial Intelligence in business provides an effective improvement to allow the company to remain precise in information. Entrepreneur may oversee information, which can fatigue over time. With the AI becoming more capable, many of the issues that have plagued companies are more likely to be resolved. In addition, AI has assists to enhance our all aspects of the company and community.

Unfortunately, artificial intelligence has a venture that can significantly impact the governmental, social, and health in the world. The reliance on data has already been impacted the privacy of others. Since, artificial intelligence involves machine learning to perform human like tasks, it can store data you have input; but that data that is being stored can be used against one at their disadvantage. The venture in AI will soon decrease in the future due to grow of studies and technology.

Nonetheless, artificial intelligence has grown exponentially in the past decade. As AI continue to grow there will be several goals put into place to improve this interdisciplinary science. One of the main goals for the venture is to prevent accidents and increase efficiency. Yet, this goal has not been reached, there are still numerous systems that do not read and understand information in humans’ race. There’s a higher risk in artificial intelligence in the workforce, it has forced employee to learn new skills to avoid losing their jobs. For example, Amazon has offered its employees to train for jobs at different companies at the cost of Amazon. According to Mike Thomas, he stated, “The goal has always been to try to build what we call the cognitive architecture, what we think is innate to an intelligence system,” (Thomas, 2019). Once that capability is accomplished, artificial intelligence could then query all human knowledge, and would be able to synthesize and answer question like no other human being.

There are different components to determine the real structure, one being knowledge on how to do things in the world and another being based off general facts. Understanding these key knowledges will also help improve the goals for the venture. One objective to achieve the goals is understanding the procedural memory in the human brain to input in artificial intelligence. Procedural memory is “a part of the long-term memory that is responsible for knowing how to do things, also known as motor skills. As the name implies, procedural memory stores information on how to perform certain procedures, such as walking, talking and riding a bike,” (Zimmermann, 2014). Procedural memory is a subset of unconscious memory or automatic memory.

In addition, semantic memory is another objective to achieve the goals of the venture. Also known as the general facts, semantic memory “refers to a portion of long-term memory that processes ideas and concepts that are not drawn from personal experience. Semantic memory includes things that are common knowledge, such as the names of colors, the sounds of letters, the capitals of countries and other basic facts acquired over a lifetime,” (Zimmermann, 2014). Semantic memory concepts are considered new to the artificial intelligence world compared to the procedural memory. These two objectives are pondered upon achieving the goals of the venture; it will not only improve the skills and techniques that AI has offer, but it will also help AI be more effective when trying to perform more human-like tasks.
