REBT method or application form in counseling is appropriate to cover the three psychological disorders within in a wide range of setting and populations, including elementary and secondary Schools. REBT’s main focus or aim is to helping clients change their irrational beliefs. This method can apply and be implemented to address the three named above social issues that certain individuals may tend to face. There are many different types of techniques that can be practical in addressing these psychological disorders (Corey, 2004).

Techniques:ABC method which mainly tries to help assist the counsellor address the client’s problem. This method has been formulated to overcome these psychological disorder, its belief is to change the perception of how one [the client] see himself/herself, others around the client and how the client see’s the world from a personal point of view. The ABC method was developed by Albert Ellis, the A stands for Antecedent which refers to the situation or incident that happened or triggered the response, B stands for Beliefs which refers to the client’s thoughts or interpretation of the event or situation and C stands for Consequences which relates to how we feel or behave as a result of the Situation or event that happened.

In Summary by using the ABC method in counselling it helps in addressing depression which in turn may stop or change the course of any certain individual who due to depression may have or think suicidal thoughts by using this particular method. It is the evaluation of the event not the activating event itself that causes the emotional consequence. We are largely responsible for creating our emotional consequence. We are largely responsible for creating our emotional disturbances through beliefs we associate with the events of our lives. By attaining a more rational evaluation of ourselves, others and the world, we are more likely to behave and emote in a more life-serving and adaptive way (Corey, 2004).
