Code of Conduct in a Social Workplace Environment
An introduction into social work is based on working with individuals, and exploring the importance of biography. This introduces you to the social work role along with adjusting better understanding a few knowledge and theory associated with social life. Where you then think about values, and key ideas/points. The social work process and the skills needed for the canadian professionals requires you to apply, learning from your own life experience or practice, as well as your current situations. What interests me most about this field is that the social work profession gives you the opportunity to work in variety of settings and towards developments.
By working in this field I feel I am able to legitimize changes, advocate, motivate, connect and to reassure confidence such as encourage those who need to be encouraged and those who lack flexibility. To fight challenges and stereotypes to bypass inconsistency. As well as avoid discrimination. Growing up in a generous home where I witness my family helping those who needed help observing struggles growing up I was more fortunate than others, I have the ability to provide the passionate needs and a phenomenal therapy system to observe my clients happy endings. I strongly believe everyone deserves respect especially if it starts from within and, everybody needs a voice to be heard even if I can be the supporter for the quiet voices amongst us.
Week 2 in class, I came up with my own personal code of conduct what I thought was good for my organization and, it also describes me as a person when it comes to personal ethics and values.
Respect Confidential Consistency
Loyalty Motivation Rational thinking Honesty Commitment
Professional code of conduct interpreters possess the professional skills and knowledge required for the situation, it also interpreters maintain ethical business practice. It also is very important to have these ethics in a social workplace environment for various reasons, using a code of conduct could build trust for the organizer and everybody around. As it maybe the most consideration in developing a code of conduct to assure that all employees have a general knowledge. (Steven,October 14,2011) I think my personal COC is somewhat accurate with the field I’d work for, as a results of commitment and, consistency, being committed to the field and being on top of everything else. Motivation is super important by keeping your clients motivated while also keeping the same energy for yourself. Respect goes a long way in the social life in general, and is much needed for the field as well. In addition of the values being consistent with the organizations making decisions and behaving in ways that portray you in the public eye.
Although 13 reasons why presents complicated web of rumors, lies, humanity direct messages, I feel that suicide remains a serious health issue in today’s era. As well as “13 reasons why” may contribute to suicides among teens who been through what Hannah Baker went through. Due to the fact rumors, and hateful threats, and sexual assault and alot more bullying that is taking place in today’s society, kids might be highly influenced and use suicidal as a get away call instead of talking about it or getting the help they need to prevent all this from happening. Instead of showing different sources or scene that shows us viewers where their is, reliable sources/helpers to somewhat avoid this situation from evolving from getting worse. I think an episode of how her life was when she hadn’t commit suicide would be creditable to viewers who has had suicidal on their mind because their situation is somewhat similar to Hannah Bakers. I do believe it would help a lot of people who are watching this series who are thinking about making that decision, and to give them reasons why not to commit suicidal. Again it is also causing her friends to be held accountable for the cause of her death which doesn’t make it any better by sending out tape records. The risk with this type of behaviour comes a whole lot perplexing action which portrays killing themselves or being a burden. The above- mentioned how typically handled by the organization mental illness and a perceived lack of available resources for viewers (Rearick, Lauren May 17, 2018)
