About the country

Although I know that each country has its own culture, I am really proud to tell about the culture of my country, Vietnam! Vietnam is a small country shaped like S with more than 54 ethnic groups living together, so Vietnamese customs are extremely diverse and plentiful. And almost every nation has its own distinct local customs and languages ​​and attire. However, ethnic Kinh is majority.

Customs

One of the customs must first mention is the custom of marriage and funeral. As a country with a long-standing wet rice industry, the lives of people are closely associated with their homeland and neighbors, so all Vietnamese customs and practices are highly attached to the union, keep family and neighbors together. A specific example is the funeral customs when the family is in a funeral, the family will open the deck to entertain visitors as a way to thanks and return the favor. And it is impossible not to mention Tet, my own feeling is that Tet is the most special holiday in a year, I even look forward to it more than my birthday. Tet is an important Japanese holiday for Vietnam, and a number of other countries in Southeast Asia in general. It is the reunion day, the reunion day of all families. An occasion where all people who are far from home will return to their families to review the sadness and happiness in the past year together. Tet is also an occasion to practice customs and many other traditional festivals. On the first day of the New Year, the day when the descendants show respect and gratitude to those who have died by visiting and praying. Then there are the feelings of the children, in new clothes, receiving lucky money from the grandparents, parents, ... Tet is an opportunity for laughter, happiness, and beauty.

Vietnamese Food 

Starting with the North, the rich land is favored with many natural conditions such as climate and soil, which are also the convergence of the fine culinary culture of Vietnam for generations. Typical in typical dishes of the North is not as strong as the spicy, fatty, sweet as other regions; The food has a moderate flavor, not too strong but with colorful colors.
