The perceptions of heroes have changed a lot since the middle ages. In the middle ages a hero was a knight who was out in war and fought and killed people. A hero in middle ages also was someone who was royal or someone close to the king's family.

Now a hero is someone who helps people and does useful things in the society. Someone thats help poor people in poor countries with exemple a donation. Someone that stands up for people and speak up for themself or for other people who can’t speak for themselves. Maybe someone close to you is a hero in your eyes for an exemple your mother, sibling or another close person. It also can be a famous person but it can also be a not existed hero that only is in movies.

A Hero is someone who rises up, from whatever their station in life is or whatever their circumstances are, and comes to embody a representative of the highest level that a human being can attain. A Hero is someone who knowingly and voluntarily makes a conscious decision to sacrifice something of one’s self for the greater good of others. A Hero doesn’t seek notoriety or praise for personal glorification, but instead, uses whatever attention he receives to perpetuate his achievements to a greater degree.The actions of a hero make a positive impact on another, or many, so as to change or alter the outcome of a situation that would otherwise be detrimental.A Hero contributes something beneficial to the world for the betterment of humanity as a whole, or for the spiritual world in creating a path that leads us all in higher directions.A Hero does not expect compensation for their heroic deed.

A hero from the middle ages is Robin Hood he was an outlaw who lived in Sherwood Forest, near Nottingham. He regularly fought against his enemy, the Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin is known for dressing in green, for being a skillful archer and for robbing the rich to give to the poor. Robin is usually said to have lived in the 11th or 12th centuries, although the earliest reference to him in a song was during the 14th century. He is described as a yeoman, or knight. Robin is said to have hidden from his enemies in the Major Oak tree in Sherwood Forest. The huge tree measures about 30 metres around and is almost 1,000 years old.During the 15th century, Robin Hood became associated with May Day celebrations in England. He also supposedly met Maid Marian at one of these fairs.In some versions of the Robin Hood legend, Richard the Lionheart is Robin’s friend; in others he is his enemy. Richard was unpopular with most of the people at the time. In some of the Robin hood stories, King John was Robin’s enemy.If Robin was a real person, there is a grave at Kirklees Priory in Yorkshire said to be his. Legend says that when he knew he was dying, Robin fired an arrow, asking to be buried where it landed.Nottinghamshire is promoted as ‘Robin Hood County’, and there are hundreds of places named after the outlaw.

There are many heroes that not really exist but is seen as a hero today but one of them is spiderman. There are many different movies about spiderman but all have about the same action. in one of the movies spiderman was abandoned by his parents when he was younger therefore he lived with his uncle and didn’t know anything about his parents. His father was a famous scientist and many wanted twist his ideas and masterpiece so he escaped. Before spiderman became spiderman was he a normal highschool boy and he always wanted to know what happened to his parents so he researched. When he found out that his father was a famous scientist and had a work partner that is still working did he find hope to find what happened to his parents. He went to see the partner and got a lot of informations. He also saw what they had been working on and what they have built, he found a room with a lots of spiders so he went in and looked, without knowing he got bitten by a spider. The next day he behaved very strangely he could walk on the wall and hand up and down. He could do what a spider could do and from there he became spiderman. He fighted evil people that did bad things like people who robbed, murdered and other bad things.

The similarities between Robin Hood and Spiderman are that both help people. Robin hood is taking money from the rich people to give to the poor people. Spiderman is helping good people from evil people.
