The Meaning Of Thanksgiving: What It Means To Me
“Be thankful for what you have. You’ll end up having more.”- Oprah Winfrey. Thanksgiving reminds me of all the things I am thankful for. Being thankful also helps me to get through life's critical times, because you can calmly call to mind of all the great things in your life. In short, I appreciate my loving family, my laughter, and my mistakes.
To begin with, I’m especially thankful for my loving family because they support and motivate me at all times. My family can bring a unique sense of enjoyment in my everyday life and my family has made a positive impact on me. No matter what happens, my family will always love me unconditionally - which is something to remember on those tough days- especially when I feel like giving up. My happiness is the most important thing to them. If I am not satisfied, my parents will give me advice on how to fix things and they will try to do something which makes me glad. Overall, I’m very thankful for an awesome family.
Furthermore, I appreciate laughter because it begins friendships and fortifies relationships. Laughter reduces tension, creates fearlessness, heals a dispersed heart, and strengthens weak bodies. To me, I think it’s not worth walking through life with a frown. Why live your life without a smile? Imagine how serious a world would be without laughter? It would be so gloomy and serious. It is important to remember that you only live one life. Therefore, loosen up, and laugh while you can. Remember, “A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” Proverbs 17:22. This means laughter helps heal broken hearts through times of sorrow, acts as a form of strength when you’re feeling sick, and creates ways to bond with your loved ones. Thus, I appreciate laughter.
Finally, I’m grateful for my mistakes because it helps us to learn our lesson. If we rarely made any mistakes, we wouldn’t learn a moral, so it is one of those things we should be extremely grateful for. Whether or not my life is going well, I take all of my mistakes in stride. Even if you aren’t happy, even if all you feel you do is make mistakes — just keep making them. My mistakes make me powerful, knowledgeable, and more sensible. Thus, I am very thankful for my mistakes. Mistakes can take you anywhere good, the bad, or truly unexpected. They’ll make for some great stories someday. Briefly, I am grateful for my mistakes.
In a nutshell, my loving family, my laughter, and my mistakes are some fundamental aspects in my life which I am thankful for. As I enjoy this holiday season, I realize that I have many things to be thankful for. Altleast 4-5 sentences explain thanksgiving define, quote, the time is now to…, imagine..
