The Definition and Goals Hospitality Industry

When we talk about the Hospitality business there are considerably more things that rung a bell for instance Tourism, Food, Lodging, Theme Parks, Airlines, Cruise and significantly more. Hospitality Industry gives you the chance to bring an impact on everyone live as the Hospitality industry is fundamentally centred around consumer loyalty. The Customer is most outstanding individual in a business premise, he is for each situation right and that is the inspiration driving why the business opens.

Every business needs to keep customers and clients cheerful, anyway in the neighbourliness business it's so largely basic to keep up guests busy with control for the business to create and flourish. Great client assistance is one of the keys to accomplishment in any business, yet is especially significant in the lodging business, where visitors are hoping to staff to enable them to make their stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

As Hospitality industry is all about customer satisfaction it helped me in coming up to my Industry mission statement which is: “Understanding the Needs and Wants of the customers and coming up with the best possible outcomes to provide the life changing experience to the clients. Having an experience as an Intern at Flight centre helped me in Gaining knowledge about the Airline, Cruise and lodging sectors. The most important thing which I learned about at Flight centre was that how we can provide the best travelling experience to our clients.

Also working in a different sector of hospitality industry at one of the top restaurant of Toronto had made me realised that how you can actually join customers by providing them the best experience. I would really like to choose Mr Mark LeBlanc and Mrs Chantana Chapman as my industry leaders. Mark LeBlanc who is the manager at Flight centre had travelled to more than 50 Countries and has inspired me and taught me a lot about this industry. Mrs Chantana Chapman is the Head chef and running the top Thai restaurants of Toronto. She has been working in this industry for more than ten years.

I really admire her because she started from very small and gradually she built herself. What made me choose them as industry leaders is that because of their full effort and dedication they have made their team and business grow also they gave me the chance to explore the Hospitality industry. Using my grandmother saying as my mission statement: “Put your best effort no matter what you do or how small or big that work is” has really helped me in my work field. I am also quite inspired by the mission statement which is “To have fun in [my] journey through life and learn from [my] mistakes.”(Richard Branson).

Overall what I have learned about Hospitality Industry from my mentors and from my surroundings is that this industry grows and revolves around customer satisfaction as it can make the business fall and rise.
