Non-organic is when synthetic chemicals are used on the crop or product to boost its growth There are about a numerous reason that why this world should use non-organic food. It is renowned for consumer plus business as well. however, it’s a misconception that non-organic foods are not seemed best for consuming but it’s not true and on the other hand time have changed non-organic food is the only way to fulfill demand of 8 billion people.
Non-organic food has made our life easy. Almost 80 percent of the population use non-organic food. Consumers can easily find non-organic food from any market or shop which saves time and cost of travelling. There is no chance of insect damage and it has better shelf life and it is more safe and secure because of state-of-the-art packing. Also, non-organic foods are available in ready to cook or in frozen form. Non-organic food offers many types of and flavors. Non-organic foods have wide range of market, from new born baby to every age segment. People who live alone have advantage for this type of food. Non-organic food plays a big part in business, there are many running businesses of non-organic food, it creates job, helps country’s economy. Non-organic food offers more yield per acre which in result reduces the amount of land needed to grow food. Pakistan is producing 0.5 kg of crop per square feet but if use advance technology we can produce almost 2 kg of crop per square feet according to Pakistan's principal natural resources land and water. Non-organic food has same nutritional advantage as organic food according to research at Stanford University. Hospitals use non-organic foods for patients. Sportsman use different proteins and vitamins for workout. And it effects on our health in positive way.
Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. With its advantages, non-organic food has some disadvantages. The chemicals used in fields are bad for atmosphere and for animals and birds as well as people who live close to field. Feeding livestock animal supplements increases the risk of mad cow disease and the use of antibiotics can create strains of bacteria. Poultry farming is one of the dangerous things happened to our life. A chicken is raised in 60 days whereas normal chicken takes 7 months, and poultry chicken can’t even stand on his own legs how can he give us enough power to be energetic. Non-Organic farming increase pollution, waste water, increase soil destruction and decrease soil fertility. The taste of non-organic food is not so good due to chemicals in it, and chemicals also affect our health mentally and physically. People in rural are more energetic then urban area because they don’t use any kind of non-organic food.
Non-organic food items are usually easily available cheaper than the organic counterpart because farming and growing methods yield more food per acre. The product has good shelf life, a packed milk can survive for 6-8 months whereas its counterpart can only take few days. Most of the food available in supermarkets is not certified organic and consumers are familiar with these brands and when we go to market to find organic food everyone say this is organic food and we can’t verify that and most of the time people buy products in more money than they actually cost. If you really want to but organic food you have travel countryside to get pure thing which in result will waste your time and money Because non-organic brands are reliably consistent in taste, texture and quality, consumers know what to expect from their purchases and there may be less waste. Organic farming techniques may be less damaging to the environment, but conventional farming offers more yield per acre, reducing the amount of land needed to grow food. Pesticides use on farms are regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency. As concern over pesticide use has increased, the EPA says its focus has 'begun to shift towards promoting systems of pest management that better protect health and the environment while enhancing the quality of our lives.'.
So, the above arguments prove that why this world should use non-organic foods as enough evidence has been provided. Although it may have same negative aspects but every story has a downside to it. We have seen that misconceptions of using non organic foods are not more than just rumors, the main motive of these fake spread ideas is to make the non-organic food industries go in loss only because they play a huge role in the mass markets. Secondly, they play a huge part in the economy of countries. Moreover, in any case seen non organic foods can always be considered as number one as it may a few disadvantages but the positive reasons on using it out vary them.
