Plot Summary Of The Toy Story 3 Movie
The first two parts of the movie revolved around the relationship of Andy with his toys.In the third part Andy is all grown up and ready to go to college, and his toys find themselves in a situation where they are fighting for their survival in a playschool.
The movie starts with Andy the kid who is all grown up now and is ready to go to college, and his beloved toys have not been played with since a long time. And sells of most of his toys keeping his most loved toys which are Woody, Buzz, Slinky, Rex, Bullseye, Hamm, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, Jessie, Barbie, The Green Army, and the Aliens.
Andy decides to take woody with him to the college and puts the rest of the toys in a bag supposed to be put in the attic, except for the army men who leave the house on their own. Andy’s mom mistakes the bag in which Andy puts the rest of the toys to be a trash bag and throws them out in the trash. The toys somehow manage to escape the trash and climb into Andy’s car into Molly’s doll box (Andy’s sister) which is supposed to be given to a daycare. Woody tries his best to explain the rest of the toys that Andy meant to keep them till they were donated but failed to convince the rest of the toys.
The toys are welcomed at the daycare by ‘Lots-O-Huggin bear and the rest of the toys at daycare. The rest of the toys except Woody are excited to be there since the daycare never runs out of children. Woody somehow escapes the daycare but is found by oe of the student of the daycare. At that student’s home Woody learns about Lots-O and his past and how his personality changed after he found out that he was replaced with another toy.
While at the daycare Andy’s toys are astonished to see how the toys are treated by the children over there. Buzz standing for the rest of his peeps asks Lots-O who is presumed to be the leader to shift them to the older children’s play area, instead of listening to Buzz Lots-O takes Buzz into his custody and restores him to original settings thus erasing Buzz’s memory. Mean while Mrs. Potato who had lost her one ey in Andy’s room sees Andy searching for them. Soon the whole lot realizes that Woddy was telling the truth and they all try to escape but fail to do so and a re held captive by Lots-O and his team.
Woody return to the daycare to take his friends back and learns from on of the fellow toy of the daycare that the only way out is the trash. Meanwhile the rest of the Andy’s toys free get a catch of Buzz who is patrolling over them and reset his to Spanish accent by mistake. Spanish Buzz make allies with the Andy’s toys and they all make plan to escape with Woody. They somehow reach the trash can but are surrounded by Lots-O’s gang. Woody reveals Lots-O’s intentions to Lots-O gang and on them turn on him and pushes him into oncoming garbage truck. Lots-O pulls Woody with him, the rest of the friends of Woody also jump into the truck to save Woody. They all are taken to a trash landfill where an object falls on Buzz which results in his memory being restored. The toys are deposited on a conveyor belt that leads to an incinerator. Woody and Buzz help Lots-O to reach to stop button but Lots-O betrays them and Jumps off the Conveyor belt at a safe spot with their help. The rest of the toys prepare themselves that they will die. Suddenly a huge metal claw saves them and puts them aside which is being operated by the aliens. Soon the toys somehow reach Andy’s home and prepare themselves to be put into the attic. Andy donates all the toys including Woody to a small kid and Andy bids an emotional goodbye to his toys and plays with them one last time and he leaves for college. The toys start their new lives with the new kid. Overall the movie is a great entertainer and helps audience connect to their childhood.
