Mother Teresa is a great leader because she is courageous. Courage is having the strength of dealing fear and danger and Mother Teresa was never lacked of courage. Mother Teresa is woman full of courage because she always shows the strength to help the poor throughout her life even it is in the tough time. Her courage can be seen clearly through her devotion of helping others and her mission as to give the poor and needs a better outlook in their lives. Mother Teresa is a woman of courage and truly fits this description as she devoted her life in helping to make a positive change in the world. Her devotion has saved peoples’ lives and given the less fortunate a hope to be forever grateful.

Besides that, Mother Teresa is a true inspiration to others. She had positively influenced people (the rich) to create organizations, charities and many more. Mother Teresa’s mission was so powerful and beautiful that many other people inspired by it and wanted to do help those who were in need and make a difference in their community. There was a connection between community service and Mother Teresa’s mission in which both strive to deliver care, support, service to everyone holistically. In my opinion, being inspirational is the best character or skill of leadership that makes Mother Teresa a great leader. In the world of good people having great welfare, everyone needs an inspiration to go ahead. Mother Teresa was the inspiration for most of the people till now. She had spent her whole life to care the poor and sick people like a real mother. This great woman was always admired by many and also respected by the people all over the world. Furthermore, Mother Teresa followed the contingency theory. The society of missionaries under Mother Teresa has spread all over the world and her deeds has been recognized by all. She helped people according to their situation, for example if people had no place to stay, Mother Teresa provide them a home to stay and same goes to the ill ones-Mother Teresa would take her time to help to heal them. In any situation, Mother Teresa would find a solution to help one in any way. She was unique as she always stand out of the crowd. She acts as a different leader in the world which makes a great leader, in my point of view.

Mother Teresa follows the servant-leadership state at where she sees herself as a servant first. She listens respectfully to what others have to say and accepts others and empathizes with them. She was also aware and perceptive. Many people approach communication as a matter of clarity and presentation style but Mother Teresa took the opposite manner at where for her, communication is mostly about listening and observing rather than just speaking. She used this technique throughout her life. Mother Teresa always pay close attention to others when they are speaking. She will always consider herself whether she need to listen more or not.

Following this, Mother Teresa is a very disciplined women who appreciated God by being a faithful person. She wanted to help the poor and needy people. Every work of her life was roaming around God. She was tired as she had constant hard work but she never gave up. Mother Teresa also believed that if one could take care of the small responsibilities, life would reward one with bigger responsibilities. This made her possible for her to extend her scope of helping a lot of people.

In conclusion, Mother Teresa was an angel of hope to the people of Globe, but the ultimate fate of being a human being spare no one. Mother Teresa breathed her last breath serving the people of Calcutta. Her death made the entire nation to cry and many poor, needy and homeless and weak people lost their ‘mother’ for the second time. Memorials were made in her name and her death was the end of an era. Mother Teresa’s leadership skills do make her a great leader which makes people from all over the globe to admire her.
