A barrier built to keep the savages away because on the other side of the savages’ borders inhabit beings that deserve the right to life. They must use all the means of protection to avoid the savages crossing the borders because if they cross the borders the livelihood of innocents would be destroyed. In this short case, colonialism strategy transforms people to savages – savages that destroy dreams and people’s livelihood- this image destroys the human figure and becomes a dehumanizing figure that everything is acceptable just to stop them.

This narrative is about the Palestinians that live in Gaza and the border built by Israel to protect the Israeli citizens. The white man’s burden has played a role in justifying European imperialism during the 19th century that the whites want to teach you the way of life. The white man burden transferred from a phrase to a human rights discourse that white men can kill in order to teach the appropriate way of life. This discourse can be seen through different scholars that have written articles for the public to agree on using violations.

David French a senior writer for the National Review, wrote an article named Israel Has the Right and Obligation to Defend Its Border with Deadly Force; this article was written after the Gaza march to the fences; he writes in his article how the people in Gaza are vicious and violent, and this language dehumanizes the residents of Gaza. The French writer uses the language of human rights and international law stating international legal standards are clear; Israel is a nation that has a right to protect its bordered and this right is under the law of self-defense, Israel has a rights of existence, and Hamas wants to eliminate their existence. Furthermore, he raises an argument of modern political discourse that tries to build double standards on the nation of Israel. This sort of dialogue plays the role of imperialism; a discourse that makes the colonialism seem as a unique figure playing a heroic role in protecting their existence. The argument continues by 'would you let people who want to kill you in your home' this scenario covers the history of the indigenous and that the lands the colonialists have stolen have never belonged to no one. Moreover, he gives his narrative that all Gaza residents are Hamas and Hamas background is well known in using human shields to drum up international sympathy to let the world see Israel as a lethal force. This observation is exactly how colonialism strategy is used to legitimatize there wrongful acts that would be transformed to rightful acts of justice.
