Continual Growth in Life After High School
Celebrating My High School Journey
First off, I have to thank everyone that has helped me achieve the goals that have made me become the person I am today. Especially, my friends, faculty members, teachers, and my parents. If it weren’t for them I wouldn’t be here right now. Anyways, congratulations to everyone that has survived high school and made it to graduation. My high school years overall was a great experience. I remember the times I had with my friends. We would spend time joking around in class that made it enjoyable for me. However, I’m sure everyone here had their own way to find high school enjoyable. There were also times when I would procrastinate and stress over completing projects last minute. Even though time here was full of ups and downs everything worked out in the end and I have no regrets.
Your four years of stressing over upcoming tests, staying up late writing papers, and dealing with people, in general, are now over! To think you had to do all that for a piece of paper that just says you graduated. However, your journey is not over, in fact, this is only the beginning. In this coming of age, you have now earned the right to choose your own path and make your own decisions. With maturity comes much responsibility. You need to make sure that you don’t do anything that can get you in trouble because now you don’t have people watching your back 24/7 making sure you do anything wrong. Some of you might stop here to start getting your life in order, and some of you may plan on pursuing higher education. This being college or finding something new you want to experience such as a trade school. Graduating high school opens up a new chapter in your life.
