Case Study of Microsoft Corporation Business Strategies

For my this assignment I am using the case study of Microsoft company. As Microsoft company is abig enterprise and highly famous. Hence, there are so much technical clauses and rules used my Microsoft to maintain its privacy because if they want to keep up their privacy then only there are going to earn profit because all of a technical company is its privacy.

Microsoft uses so many agreements direct and indirect to maintain its privacy and keep its technical resouces and inventions away from other competitors because otherwise they market space can be reduced which directly affect their profit as Microsoft is engaged in the business of technical world its agreements with its employees says that they cannot work for their competitor or any business working in the same industry while they are working in Microsoft or during first year after leaving their job from microsoft because then employees can leak ou their information (Microsoft's Non-Competition Clause and Its Effect on Employees. (n.d.). This is the non-competetion provision in the employment agreement of Microsoft.

Microsoft uses its technology in a very efficient way as it’s a big web creator in the technical world. The cloud platforms is the famous creation of Microsoft known as Azure. One can save data in the cloud on a virtua platform which could save the data of their device and this data can be accessed anytime anywhere from any device by using Microsoft account. Big and Small companies can use these virtual devices to save and process their data by which they do not need to invest in the capital. Hence, Microsoft is a good Organization in the technical universe.

Microsoft uses confidential and proprietary information of its employees and other people by their consent if one do not consent to give their personal information then there is no boundation on him/her to do that. When we create account on Microsoft then it asks for our basic information and there is a limit which cannot be excessed by Company regarding gathering information from their employees or customers.

After that when we create account on Microsoft it asks us whether company can use our personal information for other purposes which are also mentioned then if we consent yes then only they will use our information otherwise not. So, Microsoft follows all the legal grounds for using confidential and proprietary information.

Microsoft is also a responsible leader in the world of intellactual property information by participating actively with governents. It has its own licences and IP rights to use it information which cannot be used by any other person otherwise Microsoft can sue them. “We are at the forefront of a strong anti-piracy effort that both educates and protects consumers and targets the criminal organizations that are doing so much harm to end-users and local economies” (Microsoft Intellectual Property. (n.d.). Moreover, it also protects its data from other criminal and anti-peace activities. All these things make Microsoft as a loyal leader who follows all the legal rules and regulations while doing its business.

Microsoft uses different methods to evaluate their performance. It checks its performance on a regular basis. After that checking activities of its employees is also a major task. In the end it evaluate its performance and prepare itself for more challenging tasks. For upgrading its Windows we need to use its official site as it is creator of products and services, hardware and software. We can see that after Windows 7, 8 and 9 we ae using 10 which is only result of evaluation of Micosoft (Are you ready to start your evaluation? (n.d.).

Microsoft is committed to respect human beings and it cannot discriminate anyone on the basis of colour; religion; race; nationality or culture. Anyone can be employeed by Microsoft if he/she fulfills the requirements of employment there will be no discrimination. It also has employees of all nationalities without any kind of discrimination. Moreover, it also works with other NGOs to decrease discrimination at other palces. It has its own foundational principles for te regulation of human rights and to eliminate discrmination in the workplace between employees, customers and other stakeholders etcetera (Human rights statement – Microsoft Corporate Social Responsibility. Microsoft follows all the safety standars for its employees and ensure a better workplace to its employees because then only they can pt all of their effort to their work and assure a high profit to the company. It has many campaigns to popularise health and safety measures like product safety and technical specification etcetera. Whatsmore, it also saves ecological balance by device recycling; eco profiles; environmrntal accountability; green enery and environmental complaince etcetra (Safety & Eco. (n.d.). It also gives full training to all of its employees by organising training tutorials with that all the employees becomes familiar with new technology and could use it with a lot of ease and without harming themselves and giving more productivity.

In the nutshell we could say that Microsoft is a successful company following all the rules and regulations of law and also helping others to follow laws. It also impose the rules on its employees and also equip them with their rights. It has proper structure in its chain of operations. There is no discrimination in the workplace and all the safety rules are taken care in the organization; environment saving efforts are also followeed by the company. Hence, Microsoft is a leader in the ecosystem of technology and innovation.
