The Story Of A Haunted House
The house stood at the end of the city street, all alone and separated like a rock in a sandy desert. A large hulking monstrosity, that many would call a tree accompanied the house. The house was all dark, except for a bright little light shining like a glowing constellation. The house from the outside was the heart and face of Orpheus mourning the death of his wife, with everything dead and dark but the small light at the top symbolizing for a light of hope of her coming back from the underworld.
The porch was composed of floorboards full of dust with rats having formed a dwelling underneath. In the front was a huge door, with an eyehole, seeming as if it were looking at you and observing every move you are taking like a God. The metal door knob was a very unusual one, and its size was not proportionate with that of the large door. The door opened with a creak like a light, but very audible human shriek. The inside of the house was as messy as if a tornado had displaced everything. A silent darkness had flooded the room conforming to the mood of the house. The windows were cracked and curtains pulled to the sides so the red blood bathed moonlight brightened some parts of the broken or limbed furniture.
All over the floor were heaps of stones, broken glass and dust. The sofas looked like dead bodies covered with a white cloth and dusty as if being buried in the earth for a long time. The silence of the room was disturbed whenever the bats touched the ringing crystals of the immense gigantic central chandelier and when the silence was broken, it sounded like the sound of the large beating bell used to warn people of the airstrikes during the world war. The prodigious stairway was a Victorian stairway with renaissance revival detailing. The second floor has two rooms both with their door closed but voices like that of moaning or soft cries filled the them.
Finally, there was a small stairway which led to the room which seemed like he heart of the house from the outside and was glowing with an incessant light. It was very eccentric that the source of that light was one small candle. But the flame was as bright as the flame of the sun. This room had a very variant air as compared to the rest of the house There were whispers of light chanting and the room was filled with a lot of energy seeming as if there were holographic images of different men women and children walking past you or walking through you. The energy in the room was so strong as to make a person faint to unconsciousness and hence was totally contradictory to the aura of the house from the outside, that was dead and silent.
