The Correlation of Coding Skills to Reading, Writing Speed and Speaking
Program Developers are concerned about creating and developing digital programs, software and websites to perform specialized tasks, (codeconquest, 2016). Penmen are the ones who are in charge of utilizing language creatively to persuade readers using different forms like expository, persuasive and many more. Reading, Writing speed, Speaking fluency and coding has not yet proven to be connected. Furthermore, the researchers sought to investigate the Correlation of Coding Skills to Reading, Writing speed, and Speaking fluency, of the ICT students.
A study of Lyle and Johnson observes that coders who lack in skill performed less well than coders who are skilled on the speed of writing the character X consistently and on the speed of replicating characters. This study explains that coders who are well equipped performed well when it comes to replicating symbols compared to those people who aren’t skilled enough or the ones who are not focused on coding. This study shows a relationship between the way a student codes and to the speed that he/she writes.
Lyle and Johnsons also added that monetary plus unwritten support was greatly helpful in increasing the speed of writing Xs but did not improve the performance on the replicating or coding tasks. Results of t-test and correlational analysis from the study of Mahapatra shows that all the procedures (attentiveness, continuous coding, successive coding and preparation at three levels, i.e., insights, ability to remember, and intellectual) are remarkably connected to the two skills of reading at an intellectual level. Also, successive coding and preparation are notably connected to reading at the perceptual and memory level. Mahapatra further asserts that attentiveness, the primary mental procedure also revealed a remarkable connection with continuous processing at all three levels. Intellectual attentiveness was also proved to have an important connection with successive processing at the memory level and preparation at the intellectual level.
Each programming language has its unique grammar and keywords, like verbal speaking. Attal states that the procedure through which we acquire knowledge of a human language and a programming language are wonderfully alike. He also stated that using proper syntax or command of each language is highly needed to perform tasks in programming and deliver the right message in human language. He continued to state that we need to undergo similar steps as what method that is also used on learning the human language for us to learn the languages of a program because of the predefined terms that need to be understood and to be followed for the program to work and do its assigned tasks.

This statement explains that learning a computer program with the use of coding helps us to reach other people all over the planet. From Middlebury Interactive, Erin McCormick revealed that being exposed to programming at an early age gave her the practice and self-confidence in an organized approach to abstraction (Object-Oriented Program) that later, improves her language learning skills.
Most of the journals and related literature are concerned about being intelligent in English and Math. No previous research has investigated the Relationship between Coding Skills to the Speaking fluency, Writing speed, and Reading skills of the ICT students. With this, the researchers wish to fill the gap by determining and identifying the Correlation of Coding Skills to Reading, Writing speed, and Speaking fluency of the ICT students. This study aims to identify the Relationship between Coding Skills to the Reading, Writing speed, and Speaking fluency of the ICT Students. Also, to explain the Correlation of Coding Skills to the Reading, Writing speed, Speaking fluency of the ICT Students, establish discovery to the research industry, and contribute new knowledge to the research world is part of this research goal.
