Life of J. K. Rowling, A Role Model of a Woman Author

J.K. Rowling, an amazing book writer and Role Model. Rowling was born July 31, 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire, England. As a kids she had a family of 4. Her parents Peter and Anne. She also had a sister named Dianne Rowling. And now she is a mother of 3 kids. Her first daughter Jessica - Rowling Arantes, second daughter Mackenzie - Rowling Murray, and her only son David- Rowling Murray. Her husband at the time, father of the last two kids name is Neil Murray. Her dream was always to become a book writer. She stayed with that dream and never gave up, look where it took her. Her dreams came true. “ you sort of start to thinking anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve. ” ( J. K Rowling).

As a young girl J. K rowling would write stories and read them to her sister. Her stories were always adventures and magical. Her dreams and inspirations is what took her far. She studied at a university called Oxford university. In 1982, she failed the exam. She them graduated from university of Exeter in 1986. Her imagination and love of writing had a big part in her becoming successful. One day, waitting for her delayed train she came up with the story of harry potter. As she waited she wrote the being to harry potter on a napkin. That’s when her new life started. “ whether you come back by page or by big screens. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home. ” ( J. K rowling).

In 1990, J. K Rowling’s mother passed away. This left her very sad and hurt inside. Then in 1992 she got married to a man called Jorge Arantes. Had one daughter with him then got divorced in 1995. This left her has a single parent. Through all of her years of growing up she struggled with money. So when she became a book writer and got her books published she made lots of money. Making billions of dollars. Not only publishing these books get her money, she also one about 15 or more awards. Some of her awards are Legion of honour, Kids choice awards for favorite book, and Hugo awards for best Novel. There are so many more. “ Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if you just remember to turn on the light. ” ( J.K. Rowling).

J.K. rowling had made lots of differences in this world. Let's just start with her love and passion for helping with charity. Because she’s got lots of money she give most the percent of her money to charity. Also her books inspire so many people. Over 500 million copies have been sold worldwide. To lots of people J. K Rowling is considered a hero. Most people say its because she inspired them to become an author. Other say it’s because she brought them joy and excitement in her books. “ it’s our choices that show what we truly are, far more than abilities. ” ( J. k Rowling).

J. K Rowling has dedicated her life to her work. As a child she wanted to be a writer. As she grew up she worked hard to reach her dreams. When she did reach her dreams she helped others feel they could reach their dreams. J. K rowling has some fun hobbies. One of her hobbies is minecraft. She said so herself, “ i have a 9 year old son, of course i know how to play minecraft. ” one of her favorite characters from harry potter is dumbledore. On an interview she said “ if i could meet any character from harry potter in real life it would be dumbledore. ” she also stated that all the characters from the books are a little piece of her.
