I generally decided to write this article after I noticed from the last health quiz that people had no Idea that fruits can correct constipation. It doesn't have to be all drugs all the time. Constipation is a most self-inflicted. This is to say our health is traceable to our diet. Most times when we cook our food, we destroy all enzymatic activities in it. Sometimes we should be conscious of the percentage of cooked food we eat. So in the case of constipation here are some quick fixes using fruits. Using fruits can guarantee an almost 70% chance of success.
Banana
The compositions of banana are carbohydrates, fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamins A, B and C. The fiber contents enhance proper bowel movement which makes it valuable in the diet of those suffering from constipation. Also in the case of ulcer, it neutralizes excess acidity of gastric juices produced in the stomach thereby reducing the effect of ulcer.
Carrot
Carrot is an antioxidant, it also contains protein, fat, fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins A, B and E, Nacin, folate, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, potassium and zinc. Carrot eliminates intestinal parasites. When taken on an empty stomach in the morning it eliminates thread worms and pin worms capable of causing constipation. Also purifies the blood, prevents tooth decay, prevent cancer development and corrects vision disorder.
Apple
Apples are one of nature's useful and nutritious fruits. Daily consumption of apple can prevent as well as correct man health conditions. The vitamins of apple are concentrated mainly near the peel, it is advisable to eat the peel. To obtain maximal benefit, it must be slowly and thoroughly chewed. Apple contains fat, carbohydrates, protein, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, iron, vitamins A, B, B2, and C. It also contains niacin, malic, citric and salicylic acid. It is also very rich in vegetable fiber which aids free bowel movements. When taken in the morning on an empty stomach, Apple renders good result for chronic or habitual constipation. Also prevents dental disorder, aids proper functioning of the heart, enhanced food digestion, lowers blood pressure, serves as corrective foods for rheumatism and arthritis patient.
Note that all this can be achieved by regular consumption of apple. So it doesn't have to be drugs. Sometimes even as little as fruits can take that health situation away. And next time you go for food shopping make sure you are shopping for fruits.
