Introduction

Deforestation is one of the remarkably significant issues of our time; a considerable portion is essential to be taken to avoid further despoiling of our unique tree plantation resource. Deforestation disturb each one of individual life in the planet and at the amount, it is going could destroy almost everything that people have. Human activity can negatively impact on the environment in different ways, which can lead to consequences which are not only bad for environmental area affected but humans too. Activities such as clearing, cutting, and removal of rainforest or related ecosystems into less biodiverse ecosystems such as plantation, cropland, or pasture are just some examples of how humans can worsen their own environment. One environment damaging human activity, in particular, is deforestation. Deforestation is a major topic in our present-day life. Little is known about the tropical forest and they are disappearing at an alarming rate. There are heated discussions about desertification, literally because many believe deforestation contributes to global warming. Preventing erosion and promoting the planting of new forest or allowing secondary growth are strategies to slow global warming.

Some people have been moving together to produce a dissimilarity to reduce or even avoid deforestation all together. What makes the deforestation? The few central causes of erosion are population growth, natural gases, logging, and land expansion. For succession to work towards this goal, some major causes that lead to desertification need to be pinpointed and settled. “Global deforestation of about 13 million hectares per year accounts for 20%‐25% of global Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and over a third of emissions from developing countries (IPCC 2007). Woodland are cutting down in order to build land for grazing cattle. Population growth is a matter of fact of deforestation because the higher community that move inside a place the higher quantity of trees they have to dispatch to form or manufacture a room for the homes.

An enormous amount of animals who need supplies and forest are abiding by dissipated until it makes a capacity for ranging lands for cattle. There is still a chance for a change if we can recycle, preserve and lessen the amount of trees cut we can produce a difference. There is also a situation where deforestation occurs usually. There is a chance when the climate will change. “Tropical deforestation is known to be contributing to the increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide burden and hence the warming of the climate,” (e.g., Houghton et al., 1990, 1992, 1996). If there is not sufficient rain the trees would dry out and stop living. Fires are common along with the helpful component of abundant forest landscapes, although in addition to tricky when they appear in the wrong severity, at the wrong place or at the wrong frequency. Another thing that may develop is heat. It can get too hot and wildfire can break out and sabotage the acres of forest.

There are a plenty of methods to prevent or lessen the procedure of deforestation. One solution would be to request for government assistance. The government should be on top of deforestation as it is, but they have kind of just clean it under the rug. If the government were to step up and really press the laws that deforestation should not be done illegally, it can make a huge difference. Deforestation happens mainly in big rainforests in the Amazon and South America so their governments should handle it. It is not typical for it to happen in the US, but if it does we should be prepared to stop it. “Over the past 150 years, deforestation has contributed an estimated 30% of the atmospheric build‐up of CO2,” (WRI and IUCN 1998). Another way to help slow down the process of deforestation would be to get the community involved. If the community is made aware of the real consequences of deforestation more people will get involved to help put a stop to it.
