Batman Vs. Iron Man: Superheroes Without Superpowers

I’ve always wanted to compare and contrast about Iron Man and Batman, since both of them are my favourite superheroes. Iron Man and Batman have some similarities, both of them fight the villains to protect the people and the city. They don’t have superpowers; they use technologies and weapons to build their suits. Batman and Iron Man also have some differences between them, Iron Man is a hero but Batman is a dark hero because everyone in the Gotham City were afraid of Batman. But I’m going to give you more details about the similarities between Iron Man and Batman first, and later I will talk more about the differences between Batman and Iron Man.

Iron Man is a billionaire and a playboy, as well as Batman, they love flirting with the girls, and both of them are industrialist. Both of them inherited their parents’ companies but their parents were killed when they’re young. Batman has a butler, named Alfred and Iron Man has a butler too, named Jarvis but in the movie, they gave the role to Pepper, personal secretary of Iron Man. Since both of them don’t have superpowers, they can just use their money to spend on building their suits and gadgets. Every superhero do have a sidekick, including Batman and Iron Man. Batman sidekick is Robin and Iron Man sidekick is War Machine. Some of you guys might think that they’re the same, because they’re a billionaire, playboy and more, but next I’m going to tell you what makes both of them different.

Iron Man is a hero, but Batman is considered as a dark hero. Everyone was afraid of Batman; most people think that Batman is a criminal and causes problems and chaos to the citizens in Gotham City. No one knows the identities of Batman except his butler, Alfred. Iron Man is an ingenious engineer, he created many military weapons, some of them, along with other technological devices that he created, been integrated into his armoured suit to help him fight the criminals. Unlike Batman, he trains himself physically and intellectually to fight the crimes, he masters at many martial arts including karate, boxing, judo, etc. Batman evolved and updated the suit to keep ahead of technology in Gotham City, using the resources of his parents’ company, Wayne Enterprises to do so. Iron Man has an advantage, his iron suit can help him fly and Batman can’t fly.

It’s hard for me to choose who’s better after comparing and contrasting Iron Man and Batman. But I’ve Iron man for a long time, since I was in school.
