734 million people suffer from poverty, because they were never taught what to do, or that their parents lived with poverty, that is why it is important. Another reason why it is important is that so people can get a job and can have an easier life. Every college should be completely free. It helps all people earn money who don’t have a job, it has already helped people in the past, and it will help this country evolve even more, and last everyone deserves an education.
Some People need jobs. As Results, most people in the United States have improved in allowed to getting jobs because they can afford education, but some people can’t afford education. United States senator and 2020 president volunteer Bernie Sanders said ‘It is insane and counter-productive to the best interests of our country and our future, that hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college, and that millions of others leave school with a mountain of debt that burdens them for decades. That shortsighted path to the future must end.’ Over time college prices have risen by one hundred thirty percent higher between 2008 and it has risen two hundred thirty percent between 1987 and 2017.
Giving free college has already helped people in the past. Almost half of all college students in 1947 were military veterans. Former president Franklin Roosevelt signed the GL Bill to make sure members, veterans, 2.2 million were allowed to have a free college education and another 5.6 million to receive vocational education which helped expand the middle class an estimated forty percent of the people who got to go to free college otherwise. The benefits are that they can buy a house, car, and they can be allowed to have a job, will not have to be troubled by paying for education. The 1944 GI Bill paid for the educations of 22,000 dentists, 67,000 doctors, 91,000 scientists, 238,000 teachers, 240,000 accountants, 450,000 engineers, three Supreme Court Justices (Rehnquist, Stevens, and White), three presidents (Nixon, Ford, and H.W. Former co-owner of Apple steve jobs, he was adopted, his biological parents gave him a lot of money so he could go to college, which probably helped him a lot, but what if his biological parents didn’t give him the money for tuition.
The people who teach may not earn money and the college so they will not be able to run the college. During when the former president Franklin Roosevelt gave the people who went to war had free college and it went perfectly fine, he gave them a free tuition and the colleges kept running. The benefits were very good, they were able to get a car, a home, and a job. Why the government should pay is because the student could crete projects that could help thousands of people.
They benefits can help people who can’t afford education, everyone deserves an education, and it already has helped people in the past. College should be free.
