Even if the story isn’t accurate, it may be a myth or a legend that could teach the reader an important lesson. The Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe tells the story of the tragic fall of the protagonist, Okonkwo, and the Igbo culture. Okonkwo is a respected and influential leader but everything has to have an end to it. Okonkwo changes into a coward man and killed himself at the end of the book.
The author, Achebe, shows us that there is more meaning to a story than the outside shell of it, his words show the reader a powerful meaning in his text. This gives him more of a free writing style, to which he can write whatever he wants, but he chooses to write the truth from the Igbo culture's point of view.
The tone of Achebe's writing style is generally objective, which means that Achebe presents us with a clear and straightforward to the event of the story. The tone that Achebe presents a view of complex to the story filled with supports the Igbo social, religious, and living habits. This gives the reader to understand more about the culture and have a connection between them, with similarities and differences. The objective tone of Things Fall Apart gives the reader to make their own judgments about the characters and their actions. Achebe portrays the characters in events with complexity in it, which can let the reader judge them more freely with their thoughts in each and every event that Achebe has provided for the reader.

He breaks it into parts to explain to the reader what to understand and not to, he has given the reader to experience the culture of the Igbo, then the scene switches to a different plot of the story with new information to the reader. He uses figurative language to enhance the emotional significance of the text, which makes the reader have the same emotions as the protagonist. There are many different types of figurative language that Achebe uses in his writing to make his writing pop out to the reader’s mind and this can lead the story to a whole different story.
Overall, Achebe's writing in Things Fall Apart gives the reader to accurately appreciate the powerful words and the true background of the Igbo people, and that should be more special than it already was. We all can identify his writing as more complex but simple at the same time to the reader’s mind.
