What nobody has asked is, was Alice really in wonderland? Alice and Wonderland is a story that has been passed through various type of media’s through years. In edition to Alice and Wonderland Lewis Caroll wrote “Through the looking-glass”. ”Through the looking glasses”, he answered all the questions that were unanswered on the first part. In Alice and wonderland a curious English girl stubbles into a new world after chasing a rabbit into its hiding hole. She finds herself in a new environment unlike anything she’s lived in before in-countering a talking rabbit, a mad hatter and a queen. Alice faces challenges unlike any other in order to get back to the real world. As she feels discomfort, sadness, and frustration going through the different task she’s being challenged on. For example she feels at never being the right size as the other creatures she meets in this new world she enters. She feels theirs no solution. It’s difficult for Alice to solve the meaning taken place as the situations taking place. Alice will find ways and solutions to solve these puzzles she’s being given. For instance after stirring trouble in the red queens garden by paining white roses red, she has to escape the crazy queens wrath with characters so different then one another’s as well as the real world. In Lewis Carroll’s Alice and Wonderland, the main character Alice brings about chaos, nonsense, and confusion and seminally normal people in wonderland.

How different is the real world from Wonderland? Alice experiences many different characters in wonderland. Alice manages to get the concept of the new and environment and changes she’s experiencing. Caroll is telling us about the English society he was once living in and how he lived it. “Who in the world am I?” Ah that’s the great puzzle.”(Lewis Caroll, Ch.2 page 8). In this scene Alice finds herself grown several stories tall. The point is that she realizes she’s not in the real world. In the real world we are managed to have our responsibilities which depends our outcome for the future. When Alice arrives at the tea party, she realizes March Hare doesn’t even count on the time, as she only mentions the day. March Hare makes us realize on unnecessary stress we put on ourselves for no reason as it’s not needed. Time today we think of ourselves aging, as seconds, date time and year controls our state of mind. In the real world we can never return to the past or present, time is for daylight saving time. Getting to the end of the story, we realize the Queen of hearts is the political structure of the story. All the characters in the story are run by the queen who has the ultimate power. We see a connection of Queen Victoria of England and the way society is run in England. “I’m not strange, weird off, not crazy, my reality is just different from yours.” (Lewis Caroll). Which makes us wonder on wonderland on the interesting on how it’s a home to many strange creatures. As the quote saids above, Alice realizes that she shouldn’t tell others to do things her way. When they have been leaving that way their whole life. What Carroll is trying to express to us is that we shouldn’t be leaving in fear, as to be more open minded as the way Alice saw things. The occurrences that Alice undergoes in the new world are a drop in the bucket to the rest of the odd things she experiences through the story.

Between talking cats and queen of cards Alice confronts fantasy and many creatures as monsters as she would never think she will come across. Alice expresses the fantasy genre which can also be said as mixed fantasy. She feels as if she was led into a Never- Never Land, bringing her into lonely and confusion state of mind. Which makes her doubt her identity and who she is. Most of the animals being house pets to children cartoon characters. Alice feels a connection with them as she sees them as adults. The relationship she sees is her size and the relationship she grows seeing them as “adults” in her eyes.As the Frog-Footman tells her not to Knock on the door of the duchess’ house. The Cheshire-Cat replies her to go first leaving her in a doubt state of mind which makes her think that she should know where she should be going. As Caroll quotes “Do you know, I always thought unicorns were fabulous monsters, too? I never saw one alive before!' (Lewis Carroll). This is telling the reader that Alice is talking to a unicorn which is a creature she thought was fictional. This leads her to confusion as she always thought this was unrealistic. This goes to show that anything or anyone can exist in the world or in wonderland. Another quote showing confusion is Mad Hatter: “Why is a raven like a writing-desk?”.”Have you guessed the riddle yet?” the hatter said, turning to Alice again. “No, I give up,”, Alice replied: “What’s the answer?” “ I haven’t the slightest idea,” said the Hatter”.What this is implying, is the mat hatter being described or also named as a nut job. His character embodies the backwards way of the people in wonderland. Being said theirs no shortage of the various types of people are in this word today.

How different is the world from wonderland? What Alice finds through her adventure is the lose of knowledge. In the real world there’s no such thing as value anymore. In wonderland, as a wise one can’t go without any other. As she realizes people go places and do things for a purpose. The difference of the world of fantasy, is that the true things in life that we have learned aren’t supported. In real life we aren’t meant to see a talking white rabbit. The rabbit leaves throughout the Wonderland as Caroll mentions as he follows the path of curiosity. The white rabbit may be rushing late to see the duchess, but this shows us an example on us rushing to school or running late to a meeting.Alice also meets the Queen of Hearts, who has great independence and shows poor over the people in wonderland, who helps Alice advice to survive. Also the only cat that can grin, Cheshire cat. Queen of Hearts symbolizes a figure of royal. She tells the readers how she is in full authority. Which gives us a great example on Victoria, The Queen of England. The wonderland characters show great comparison on the people on a reality show. For example as said by Carroll “ Cat: Where are you going? Alice: what way should I go? Cat:That depend on where you are going. Alice: I don’t know. Cat: Then it doesn’t matter which way you go.”A question we may ask in our world is “Where do you you going? First you have to ask yourself this question in order to succeed further as Alice then found her way around wonderland. As Alice is lost and not use to the world she entered rather then her real world and her knowing where she is at she gets help from the cat. This quote shows confusion as she has no sense of her direction. As it is practically impossible for us human to adapt quickly to a new environment.Alice is experiencing a confusion on direction as she isn’t familiar with the world rather then the real world.
